Keep in mind that you can glamour most DoH/DoL gear - it can give you more variety to work with.

low level vanity gears are not what we're asking for.
we want high level gear sets for mages that look good on their own.
what's the point of doing endgame raid if we have to glamour everything to the level 1 gears that were released in version 1.X?
It's from 1.X, dammit!

I agree with you OP as male character and scholar i'm bored about those clichés which say "healer = dress" and i woul like more choices too. I have found only one set which is new from HW that i like ^^' there are too much robes and "ecclesiastical" clothes.
SE we are some healers not some priests.

If you don't like warm robes, wear hot shirts

This, please. Except for casters too. The open neck top from quest rewards (edit: what Felis' retainer is wearing above) is a step in the right direction, but it's not quite what I'm looking for. A cross between that and the Storm Elite's Coat (like the Kirimu coat) would be perfect for me. Also, more thigh highs. I had to sigh to myself when I was browsing the Alexander gear vendor. All physical dps got thigh highs, and casters got knee high. Which are hidden under a robe anyway.
My own personal preferences aside, other caster gear showing more skin would be nice too.
edit: This isn't to say I don't like some of the sets that cover up, as I do. I like the current law set, which I'm wearing atm, and I used the Storm Elite's Coat for a good long time too. Same with the all saints robe and HW leveling robes when I came across them. They're all nice, it's just that having more options that show off some skin would be nice.![]()

what I don't like the most is that we had similar threads like this before but it seems like our requests never been forwarded to the devs.

...eeeh? Sorry, by thigh highs you mean thighboots? o.O Because if so...
Serpentskin Thighboots of Casting
Lominsan Officer's Boots
Wolfliege Thighboots
Wolfseye Thighboots
Elkliege Thighboots
Elkhorn Thighboots
Acolyte's Thighboots
High Allagan Thighboots of Casting
Bogatyr's Thighboots of Casting
(Augmented) Ironworks Thighboots of Casting
Halonic Exorcist's Thighboots
Ishgardian Historian's Thighboots
...and they all have healer equivalents as far as I'm concerned; and then there's also the Summoner's/Evoker's Thighboots in addition. From IW onwards through Augmented IW, and then the Ishgardian Historian's Set and the Halonic Exorcist set - they all came with thighboots, these are (relatively) new. o.o Idk, personally I'm happier when I see non-thighboots, especially since those too cover up quite a lot. o.o

What do you mean 'was'? When did they release AF2? Mythic? You know something we don't? Everyone assumed AF2 was going to be released with Alexander but that instead got it's own gear, and Mythic it's own update so... spill!
There are some options out there. You'd be surprised with how well some sets mix/max.
Meanwhile, waiting for arachne shirt instead of that shitty-looking chilveric aiming dress for my MCH/BRD...

If i'm not mistaken, there are plenty of glamours for this.
I mean, if you're asking for actual gear to be skimpified, we're warriors, subligars aren't exactly what we roll into battle with. Glamours provide a lore excuse to this, saying that we're still wearing our armor, but it's just magicked to look like something else.
