Hempen Undershirt - long skirt (whichever exact model). Yep, rocked that too already, not once. :/
(Gotta admit it looks nice tho and finally someone else on Gilgamesh, hit me up if you want to...? :3)
What is funny... There was a guy in a primal fight who had gone entirely "Harry Potter" themed... on his tank. He glamored wizard type of gear over his tank gear... it was the the most annoying and distracting thing ever.
All im asking for is a kirimu coat for healers... Please and not gated behind masterbooks. >.>
As previously stated
Thavnairian Bustier
Grab this when it becomed affordable or you can craft it,
dye it your favorite color,
glamor it over your best gear.
Personally I am going with either ink blue or jet black for my xaela all-mage to show off her scales and super-pale skin. It is perfect for a fantasy sorceress outfit.
Cannot wait <3
As for the topic there are options as far as robes the higher you level up, but glamor will most likely always be the way to go if you don't like something

I can think of quite a few non-shirts/non-dresses, and my favourite part of getting the Dreadwyrm breeches of healing was how... low they go. And this is just from before Heavensward. Now there's the Valerian Shaman's Smalls too (Albeit healer only); sorry I don't have a close up picture of those though... because 'smalls' only begins to cover it (it's certainly not covering much itself)
...to everyone suggesting beachwear or DD gear - please read my first post.
...to everyone suggesting the Thavnairian set - please read my first post.
And Garlyle, while that looks great, on one hand it fits perfectly under the "too old, too few" umbrella, and on the other not everyone even has it. Also there's the minor detail of them being healer pants, however nice they are. Same goes for the Valerian shorts (which I do have btw). Guess this also indicates a healer/caster inequality.
I've been playing Blm for over a year and a half and I'm about sick of all the robes, robes, and more stuffy, drowning your beautiful character in cloth, robes. Even when we get options on the lower half though, if you're male say goodbye to skin showing. Girls will get thigh-highs and miniskirts/shorts while males are shoved into unflattering capris and pants. If we get lucky we get even morehalf robeslong skirts. When we get some thigh-high boots with our sets they always looks terrible on males because they become baggy and ill-fitting.
I love playing blm but I'm super tempted to level other things just to get some variety in my outfits
