So, how is your AST healing in Alexander?

It is still the weakest healer of the three for many, many reasons.

You are so wise, I would never of come to the conclusion a healer with lower potency was weaker than other two.

Alex normal was quite easy on astro, outhealed all the whm/sch parters I had (from parse not eye). No mp issues, even after having to solo heal and raise the bad sch.

Fact is, learning the fight in savage people will probably lean towards whm/sch. But, as soon as its on farm, ast/ast or ast/sch. I'd rather be important on farm than first time clears.

That's really only the case if the AST could provide enough buffs to out DPS SCH/WHM. I'm still skeptical.

And really, normal mode is easy mode for healers. I cleared all levels in Nocturnal Sect for what it's worth. It's not an indicator for anything.

It's easy to detect bullsh*t once you start claiming that the puny AST can actually outheal a WHM - I have 60 for both and WHM is my main before trying out AST all the way to 60. To tell me that the healing potency of AST's healing spells outrank WHM is just factually wrong - look at the spell descriptors for one. A WHM who cannot outheal an AST is obviously playing a WHM wrong. When healing using a WHM and AST, I can clearly detect the higher frequency I have to cast my healing spells for AST compared to WHM - it is very perceptible. And no wonder - AST's healing potency is lower than a WHM's.

At this stage to even suggest AST/AST combi is madness at best unless you want your BRD to sing mana song endlessly. To talk about farming any instance with overgeared toons is completely irrelevant (e.g., lower ranked trials/dungeons in DF) - ANYTHING is easier with an overgeared toon. When overgeared, do people really care about boss mechanics much unless it is a 1-shot?

I never said ast can outheal whm or sch lol calm down. I said in the runs I did through Alex (one set) I out healed the sch's / whm simply being a better player. I realize whm and sch are superior as I mained whm before as well.

Then why bring it up? I might as well say SCH is a better DPS than X class because I out-DPS many DPS in the duty finder.
