Story Mode Players

Finished it via duty finder, was absolutely fine.
Floor 4 took a few wipes but it is perfectly DFable and chill. Perfect story mode for casuals I think.

I have to agree. It's a rather easy place...very easy in fact, especially for seasoned raiders. We downed the first 3 parts in under 2 hours. Currently helping a friend finish off his main story so I haven't seen a clear of part 4 yet, but the mechanics behind that one were definitely easier than what we've seen so far from the end of the various Coils.

Why should it be gated behind incredibly difficult content (for players without a static anyway)? The content is challenging enough (note: I mean for the average player, not for everyone who's done coil pre-nerf).

These seemed pretty good and as most people stated it did seem like a good run for casuals and also introducing people who were maybe not into doing raiding content before. The content is quite good took a few tries to finish floor 3 but haven't finished 4 yet since my FC mates wanted to take a break.

Odds are that the people who really wanted a story mode for raids are not ilvl 170 yet and can't even enter yet.

Rewards, you earn. Achievements, you earn. But -story-, in a Final Fantasy MMORPG with paid subscription?

On topic, I think the "Normal" mode was decent. I was surprised that it actually dropped items, I thought it would just be something to clear for the story but I'm not complaining. Looking forward to Savage mode.

There wouldn't be any complaints if SE released both Story Mode and Extreme Mode at the same time.

Hopefully the next "level" of Alexander will make it so that both difficulty levels are released at the same time

I personally never asked for an easier raid for casual players, but I do find the difficulty of Alexander normal to be perfect.
