so why say july at all, why not say "golden feathers will be delivered at august" instead of just "after july" thats rather vague after july 4th after julys maintenance, it opens it up to questions, where as if you said "in august" there would be no question as to when.

It's never a good idea, in a game with this many functions and features, to state an exact day at first announcement. Things go wrong. If anything, they're delivering early because it's still July.

except with this they are essentially waiting til the last moment to give out these items, items in which the silver feathers have been given out to various users along with the bro-fist emote, showing these are in surculation, as well as all mounts and items are in the game already, so there is no need for a patch, there is very little reason for t to be delayed til july 30th (which by the way i may as well say august guessing on how other things will be it will most likely be 1st of august for half of the world)

if they stated in august there wouldn't be this much confusion over the golden feathers.

TBH that's complete BS as people would be demanding to know "when in August." As vague as it is, "after July" pretty much covers any time from July 1st onward.
