Preach.
Although it remains to be seen how much of an effect this will have. Something is wonky with accuracy anyway - I have no problems hitting Ravana or Bis EX but put me back in a lvl 50 HL roulette and It's wiff city. Hopefully SE knows about this.
just cleared all 4 "floors" of Alexander with 95% accuracy - so for now this is a dead issue - could crop up for future harder content.
I can report 100% accuracy for Alexander 1 at least. Will see what happens in the next parts.![]()
Since this is the "easy mode story Raid", I imagine accuracy won't play a huge factor for this content.
I would be pleasantly surprised if Accuracy continues to remain a non-factory for Savage Alex.
Noticed this too which prompted me to lay down my pitch-fork.I just inferred that acc caps for lower for 3.0 content, while 2.0 content are still at their original values.
I'm kinda doubtful about that. Means that all that sexy Accuracy on DPS gear would be wasted.![]()
Indeed, hence why I would be pleasantly surprised xD I honestly don't expect to happen because I see these +60 Acc pieces and going "Yeah, that's gotta mean SOMETHING".
As I mentioned earlier in this thread, I'm anticipating the accuracy cap for Alex 1 - Savage to require approximately +200 in gear for casters. I think that puts everyone at an accuracy requirement of 550-ish?
No it doesnt mean he isnt a good scholar. If he keeps everyone alive he has done his part. Anything beyond healing is just a bonus.
I both do and don't agree with this mentality. A Scholar that contributes to group DPS while simultaneously keeping the group topped up is contributing more to the group than the Scholar who only heals. This is not a matter of opinion, but a fact that can be easily proven. Back when Turn 6 was a relevant thing my DPS contribution meant the difference between pushing the phase with only one bee, or having to halt DPS for a time to deal with a second (often times ticking Dots would push us into third and we wiped). This direct contribution to group DPS meant the difference between success and wipe.
Thus, a Scholar who could not do what I did; who only healed is "bad". His zero or low damage output would have caused the group to die. That is not a good Scholar by any measure.
On the accuracy thing, Ive only noticed a difference when level syncing to pre HW 50 content but ive been fine in HW content
On the healer dps thing: A healer that doesnt dps is in no way a bad healer as long as they can do their primary job, healing, well. On the other hand they are also in no way the best/a great healer because they are not doing everything they can for the group.
People who say healers that dont dps even if they heal fine are bad are wrong, people who say that healers that dps and heal fine too are no better than healers that dont dps and heal fine are also wrong.
