What is this video trying to prove? I'm hovering around the same numbers with GB toggling at the same points as the fight as you, falling behind as the fight prolongs beyond the first swift liberation. It was one of the only fights where GB Toggling was feasible for burst because of the amount of downtime, but outside of that, full-time GB before the change wasn't worth holding onto if you couldn't get off every single blanks.

I believe it's trying to prove that in a ~5 minute sustained fight with actual battle conditions, the MCH ended with almost 900 DPS (something that people said wasn't possible), was 2nd in terms of DPS and was only about 80 DPS behind the MNK. If the whole point of this and the other threads is to prove that MCH was underpowered and needed buffs, this video kind of goes against the wind on that one. Especially when SE said their teams parsers were showing that MCH was actually a pretty powerful class and the community jumped on the fact that SE's parsers were somehow broken.

Except this is a Ravana parse and the fight ended fairly early on a liberation phase (where he takes extra damage). It's an extreme outlier to show MCH's capable DPS (let alone average because of the bloodlust and downtime phases). Not that MCH DPS is that low, but it makes a terrible example to show that they're capable of high DPS. But that's not what I'm directing my post at anyway; Gauss Barrel needed tweaks, and along with the comment, the video implies that GB did not need a buff at all. Which I'd disagree because those are roughly the numbers I'd pull at the same time at the fight possibly with a weaker weapon and GB toggling for ricochet+round.

Everything should not be taken at face value, whether it's people saying its undertuned (which is true, in some areas) or that it's fine (again, also true in some areas). However, in context of the video and hex's remark on GB needing a buff, I do not see how the video proves anything otherwise.
