Um, because flare costs around 880 MP and fire IV costs 1768.
Without the PIE buff you don't have enough for that one more fire IV.
With it... I'm 2 sodding mana points off!!

I'm at 263 PIE, guess I could remove one point from int, and put it in pie and do the following opener.

Ok, no, that doesn't work, at all, the point of flare is also to refresh your AF stacks. I stand 100% by my original opener ATM.

My opener is QS > Swift > Sharp > Leyline > F3 > Eno + RS > F1 > Pot > F4x3 > F3 Proc > Convert > F4 x3 > B3 > B4. Granted you can wait 2 secs to get B4, I prefer it since it's still faster than Blizzard opener.
