Girls can wear sets that are oriented to male characters, because they look cool in them, but the game doesn't allow the other way around

I think the way to solve this is to either give male more male-only costumes or make sets oriented to females also wearable to male characters

Currently male characters do have a disadvantage in this regard and it's only fair to fix that for them

Same-sex eternal bond is possible, I don't see why cross dressing is not an option. After all, Cloud in FF7 did famously cross dress.

I see, Well, i for one am very glad it's not an option, as i can imagine some disturbing images, thankfully (for me at least) this is the minority. so i don't have to worry of it coming to light. It's hard to explain why those do make sense on females, Females irl have been known to socially wear tuxedos and male orinitend clothing and not look odd. but there isn't much you can do about it.

This seems to just be a case of deal with it.

While it makes sense, I do think in the interests of fairness if SE gives females an exclusive outfit they should also add an outfit that only males can wear.

You either do not know the word bigotry or you just wanted to add to your post count, either way, false. there is no actual "intelligent argument" to this other then this being a "i want cross dressing" Try again, actually don't because i'm not getting into this. Learn words before you speak them. back to the topic now. "I" am not the only that does not want to see it, as there is a reason it is not in the game, and these topics are few and far in between. it's not a matter of any prejudice to what you like and desire, it's simply something majority of the playerbase does not want to see.

The only true male/female exclusive are FFXIII and wedding gear.
