Your post about the lolita clothes means jack squat. I'm a lolita myself and as such have attended multiple meetups and teaparties where I interacted with others wearing that fantastically beautiful fashion. I have met several brolitas, as we call them, over the years, one of which was a father who came with his daughter (both in Baby the Stars Shine Bright head to toe). Let me tell you he was tall and had legs for miles that looked better than half the girls attending and he wore the dress as well as anyone there. The guys who wear lolita don't bug anyone for a uniquely made dress, they just put on what is available for everyone and look good. I applaud anyone who wears the fashion in public settings, and especially males who have the sheer guts to wear whatever they like. Lolita is for anyone who wants to feel beautiful regardless of what reproductive organ is between their legs.

Also, one of the most prestigious brands out there was created and worn by a male; heck he played a big part in making lolita popular! I speak of course of Mana-sama and his brand Moi-Meme-Moitie.

Some gorgeous brolitas to prove my point:

That is why SE needs to just come here and tell us why they are giving one side more outfits then the other. If the model of the female vs male was the issue, then giving a male Lalafell the same outfit as a female one would have not been a issue. This is why I think the model of a character is probaly not the reason why they are giving females more outfits. Lets say the model of the gender was the factor, why are they OKE with giving one side more then the other?

Lets say one of the developers (I dont know what I have with hairs today ) is better in designing female hairstyles and we see more hairstyles for female released then males, would we be oke with this? Its the same as the outfits, SE is saying making/converting armour for females is easier then males, so females get more outfits, so more hairstyles should be fine aswell, right?

I bet my chocobo, that we would see less threads if SE came to this thread and started a dialogue with is, do they owe us? NO, but as their customers, this is the least that they can do for us.

^ This describes my thoughts perfectly. More gender locked outfits please. That way it's more likely that gear looks flattering on both male and female characters. (Personal taste but I'm so happy I didn't pick a male avatar after having to wear scylla's robe for weeks. *shudder*) More style options would be nice too. I'm a huge fan of kilts (skirts made specifically for men), night elf style revealing mail/leather armor for girls (subligars don't count because they're butt ugly), bare chested but covered in jewelry and war tattoos/paint top options for males, and revealing silk dresses with lots of jewelry for girls (belly dancer outfit for example). There are some of those in game already but I'd love more for variety. Blinding my enemies with diamonds and sex appeal is a valid battle plan right? Haha :P

Edit. Since real life was brought into the discussion, I might as well chime in. It saddens me to see people dissing men for wearing something that's not traditionally made for them to wear. I feel like the (developed) world has advanced so well by relaxing the behavior and clothing expectations for women, yet men are still held to those archaic standards of manliness. This kind of treatment is no less sexist than telling women to wear dresses and do the all housework.

I support gender lock outfits. Those gentleman suit, gambler set and arabic glamour that always have access for woman because "Yeah woman suits well with those outfit, why can't this outfit become unisex? UNISEX OR RIOT PERIOD" while bunny ears and loincloth for male is disgusting for society because "Ew wut? It's totally not makes sense for male using that because it looks gay. You only looks good in full armor and robe."

I really can't believe I read arguments about people are forced to look at too naked male characters and are offended this way. How about stop posting your bigotry nonsense because I am forced to look at it and I have true reason to be offended by your 14th century behaviour. Thanks.

Believe it or not, straight males don't exactly enjoy looking at half-naked dudes, it's not really "bigotry". That being said, they should still design gear with both genders in mind, so they don't cater just to female characters.

Believe it or not ... maybe I dont enjoy looking at half nakd females too? WHO ever talked about the kind of sexuality that prefers this or that look??! That alone is enough sign of bigotry. The difference between us seems to be nothing more than tolarance. So yes I pretty much get a vibe of bigotry here :3 Btw how about some female players like to have a half naked male char the same as some male players like to have a half naked female char. Stop acting like we want something noone else has. Equal right for all.
