Yes Rank 18, and our last shipment brought in enough crystals for wheel prototype 1,2,3. Which are just the items to put in the level 2 wheel for level 2 buffs. Still no 2nd airship yet. I wanna say up to 8 or more islands though, continuing on. Hoping to hit rank 20 soon in a day or so.

Have you been switching out ship parts? Everytime we were able to swap out a ship part we have. We are currently 3/4 Prototype 2 with 1 Prototype 3 part. This may have something to do with it someone said. One of the items increases surveillance and range? So possibly these stats help find new islands?

We have upgraded surveillance too. That may be it.

We always had most up to date parts possible for our level. Could possible drop down to tier1 on part that has negative Surveillance stat but it seems like other people found island fine without doing so. Think with full full tier2 set we has a straight 80 on all stats.

EDIT: We are going to downgrade our Aftcastle to tier1 and upgrade Forecastle to tier3 and see if this has any impact on island finding. I will update on any findings.

My ship is rank 12, 3/4 invincible, and yet only 3 sectors. My question is when you send your ship out, do you only send it to 1 island at a time, or mix and match?

We hit rank 20 today and unlocked a level 30 island. It is grayed out and cannot go there. We do 2 areas at a time. Still no 2nd airship. Just got the items to grow and make a Moogle Topiary. Very sad...
