I ran these on Tuesday (reset day) no problem, LotA was a little longer Q time but longest I waited was an hour while I was levelling up BRD in North Thanalan to lvl 54 :P

I have been trying to farm the gear for my Paladin and it`s taking more than forever, still missing the waist and feet. Every time I try to queue it says 30 minutes but it normally takes around 45.
Before the patch was 15 to 20 and sometimes at peek hours around 5 minutes.
SE should really do something about that since less and less people are doing it.
Even thought it`s true that the dungeon has no exp they should make it available to everyone that wants to run it.
Someone mentioned that people don`t want/ need to run those raids with the new expansion and that`s true but it`s still part of the content so it should be available.
Like the lower lvl dungeons, one could say they have no purpose anymore but people still running them.(been running my girlfriend through them since she started to play with the expansion and normally doesn't take more than 5 minutes.
It is available. You've been running it. What you're really asking for is for it to be required so as to reduce your queue times.Even thought it`s true that the dungeon has no exp they should make it available to everyone that wants to run it.

I think they would be able to implement runs that used fewer people. Think of it this way, you can get 6 or so people to do the mechanics in a similar way if there is an initial check at the start for the number of people participating within the raid. Then the amount of people required to activate certain objects would be adjusted to match.
I.e. For LotA's Atomos, a party of 7 would have this check done and the game would recognise that there isn't enough people to do the mechanics standard. So it would drop the amount of pCs needed to activate the pads to 1 with one group having two people not on pads. The health of the Atomos and the adds would also be reduced to compensate.
There are ways around under-manning content if SE implements them correctly.
When you have lag, every action is an adventure.
Yep, que times are slow for old content, big surprise here. The gear is outdated, the only reason to go is as others said, is glamour. You'll be swimming in so many poetics if you do the main story at this point as well as be readily equipped from later quests.
I think they were talking about people who need it to progress the story. I forgot, does it have to be done?? I cannot remember now.
They could add a Raid Roulette, this way players can finish Crystal Tower everyday for Law (if you are level 60) and Experience (if you are level 50-60).
They should add ilvl 180 upgrade materials to CT weekly quest.
Yeah I find hunting all day long boring :P
Maybe thinking like this is weird, but shouldn't these raids be accessible for reasons other than gear? Like people have said, new players join all the time. Gear isn't the only reason they might want to run these raids. There's also the general content (I realize MMOs aren't necessarily famous for story, but this game does it pretty well) and the titles and achievements.
