This is what you understood? Nice..... It's exactly what I said.
Also, we will literally not have food. And we will literally not have lives, so who needs living and having a good time? . . . . . :/
To be honest, if what the OP says is true, FFXIV should be the least of Greece's citizens' worries.
Thank you.
I already have made up my mind about my gaming future. I used to buy dozens of games every week.
Now?
1) Backlog of hundreds of games.
2) 15 Euros every month on the side = FFXIV + PS Plus (6 new games a month) non-stop subs all year round.
3) Raising money slowly for being ready for every new FINAL FANTASY coming out. (Thankfully already have HEAVENSWARD)
4) I have already paid MGSV in full since last year.
This will literally be my gaming from here on out for at least 5 years.
Why should Europe fund/bank roll and bail out your nation if your voting to leave the Euro? Europe has been throwing money in your direction to help you get out of the problem but no other country or countries can indefinitely pay for your country. Greece needs to spend less time blaming everyone else and more time trying to fix it's problems instead of pretending they have no responsibility to deal with it.Thank you.
We are now NOT voting for staying in Eurozone / Euro, or not. We are voting if we should accept being slaves or not. Don't believe the twisted propaganda.
But if we vote no, Europe will cut funding and force us to cut our own currency, thus out of Euro. Democrats.
One more thing if you want sympathy it would be more helpful if stopped insulting every other country in Europe whom you blame for your countries problems. We don't use the Euro over here in the UK and yet we are in Europe and have one of the strongest economies in it. Not being in the Euro is not the end of the world but will take time to put yourselves back in a good position if leave it.
On topic of this game however and paying for it, have you thought about opening a foreign bank account, from what I have heard foreign accounts are not currently restricted in greece plus allow for continued use of other payment methods. I am not sure why you are asking SE however to not abandon you, they cannot solve this issue for you but you have within your means the ability to solve it yourselves.

Lol who did tell you that number: it was not even close to 1 Billion.
the first haircut alone did cost more then 100 Billion euros. That money is gone.
And the 2nd one is coming, that is 100% sure. I see a big red Number there already.
Where are your 200 Billion from?
this very minute greece current depts are around 317 Billion euros. How on earth would you even think that Germany made 200 Billion during the crisis?
There is no logic there whatsoever.
No EU country made or will ever make any plus since Greece is in the EU and won't ever happen. No matter how the solutions are going to look like.
That is propaganda at its finest.
And... you forgot the none-credit based financial supports from the EU over the last decades.that is 250 Billion (that is help that nobody has to pay back), how about that? - since germany has the biggest economy most money also came from there.
Before starting to throw stones, do proper research.
What do you guys expect?
Get better polititians, fight the corruption, don't blame everyone else for your problems. That is not helping anyone.
Even not calculating another haircut (which is bound to happen),
greece got more money from the EU over the last decades then it has depts right now.
I hate it when politics come in the way of innocent online gaming BUT honestly greece is in the situation its in now because it did not adhere to the recomendations set out in the previous hand-outs. These changes to taxes work and pension for example are not slavery just simply you will need to be able to afford to pay back your debts. USA are managing it (surprisingly! ;D ) so no reason why you cant either.
That aside, wether greece eurozone or not is not the end of the world it wont stop you having ways to play ffxiv. You can just hop across the waters buy a timecard to input in on mogstation and bam sorted! And if Greece has become so bad then dont go back - greece will still be a part of europe even if not eurozone so free movement and all that![]()
.
USA has its own spate of problems and poverty wages on the lower rungs, but for us $15/month isn't an enormous problem. The Internet or cable bill alone is going to be 2-3 times that much and that's where we'll feel the pinch. And housing. (580 Euros is only about $644 dollars and wouldn't cover any more than rent in an apartment shared with 2-3 other people and food. Forget about a car payment or health insurance.)
The OP's real concern is that if Greece stops using the Euro, and time cards are not readily accessible (the Greek currency to Euro rate is probably going to be atrocious), then SE won't accept whatever Greece's new currency is, and he'll be stuck with no reasonable means of paying for the game.
Unfortunately, it's going to take the EU data center some time to figure out what, if any, currency they'll take besides the Euro. So I agree that the best advice is stock up on time cards while you still can.
