New housing district with Ishgard?

Have we gotten any details on if this is happening or not? With how overply populated Gilg server is, there is no chance for my FC(or just me) to get in to a house and use the airship. I want a damn airship!

they said it's not impossible but they haven't put anyone to work on it. there are like no designs of the zone or anything like that in progress yet.

I would like to see more themed housing districts but I realize it would be a lot of work, not to mention the limitations on PS3 memory is already being pushed. Sea of Clouds housing would be number one on my wish list.

The last time the development team spoke on the subject, they already stated that lore wise there is no way an Ishgardian housing ward could be implemented, yet, although they did open up the possibility of it coming some time in the distant future (which, most likely just means, "it will never be added"). New wards for the existing housing areas were strongly hinted at though:

I’ve been talking about whether we can add this sometime after the expansion, but we wouldn’t be doing this at the same time as the expansion and as I can’t make any promises in regards to the timeframe, for those of you who are wondering if there will be new housing areas in the expansion, I urge you to look into housing in the current three city-states.

So there you have it - no new housing area for Ishgard for a long time, but, new housing wards for the existing residential areas are coming, so just have patience.

...yeah, I'd urge him to look into housing and find a plot that he can buy. On any of the decently populated (and upwards) servers, maybe even on some of the "emptier" ones as well. >_<

Right. Excalibur I think hasn't had an open plot since 2 minutes after the last wards went available.
