For me, on my server. The only issue I have is that people are actually buying it at 50 million... and that's 50 million for each part, not the entire thing. That's what is sending off warning bells to me and makes me assume people are buying gil and that the gold sellers are pitching a tent.

I've received 34 gold selling pms in the last 3 hours and constant friend request to the point that I just really could not be bothered to decline it anymore.

But yous are right that its the community that sets the price, ..its SE that sets the level of rarity.

Its just sad to see that the only thing keeping crafters afloat is glamour items.. ¬¬

One reason they're overpriced right now is everyone had to stop and level blacksmith/goldsmith/armorer for airship parts instead of their planned specializations. And, you know, leveling that instead of doing the MSQ. I'm a career goldsmith and I'm only at 54 because I'm having to level miner at the same time to avoid going broke while leveling!

Supply and demand economics 101. Short supply + high demand = outrageous prices. Fat Cat was 10 million gil on our server at one point. I picked him up when he dropped to two million.

Just wait, I'm telling you prices will go down. I'm on Excalibur people are buying them for crazy prices. You need 3 silks and some other stuff, but the silk cost the most, they come from the new maps. Give it time for more gatherers to get leveled up and get access to the hinterlands (dunno if they come from other zones). I really want the body piece, it looks nice on my MNK, but I'm not paying 12 mil for a glamour piece. I could, but no. Most I ever spent for glamour was 1mil on a body piece. Just wait.

1. One of the best looking Vanity.
2. It's new, it's going to be high as all hell...just like any new item in game and real life.
3. Prices will go down in time.
4. Material's are hard as hell to farm.
5. Rarity = More cost.

You know you could just wait until more of the mats are found and then the items gradually become cheaper. Just because its in the game doesnt mean you have to have it right now.......sigh.

There's a difference between working for something (that actually helps you in some way, like gear/relic) and stuff being stupidly overpriced that does nothing for you

Regardless of the stats, if you want something then you have a goal. And you start to work to reach that goal (earn gil, level up crafter). If you don't want to put in the work needed to reach that goal, don't set it as your goal

First off: Only 18 million? Remind me to transfer to your server. They go for at least 70mil on Sargatanas. How do I know? My friend just sold two today. Know what he's done all but two days since the expansion dropped? Craft and gather like a mad man all day, every day.

Lol right? I'd sooner level up and make it myself, or collect the mats and "phone a friend" who can make them. I'm not poor by any means but 70mil for a single glamour piece is ridiculous to me. Different strokes, I guess.

I just get tired of people accusing anyone that has more money than they do of being a gil buyer. -.-
