Darkside Aura .. hurts my eyes. Can't turn it off.

It's pretty bad when you have a mass of DRKs around. as someone who pretty much just plays only this job (until i bother to level pld, brd, and drg to 60) it's pretty glaring too, and it ignores effect settings.

Because it's basically a bunch of big red smears pointing to someone. It's busy, distracting, and it's not appealing to look at.
I and those like me would like to have as little of that as possible. If it can be removed or dialed back, I would like them to do so. This is why people complain about it. So word can get around that many do not like it and perhaps the devs can do something about it.

Warrior Wrath aura effect was perfect. Darkside is too vague and distributed that it doesn't feel like "an aura belonging to this character", but like flies swirling around the character. It doesn't feel like "one aura". It's like noise.

I say don't remove it all together give people a choice to turn it on/off. frankly it's never really bothered me myself.

main drk love to see the aura either on the left hand or smaller to mimic a dark flame around the weapon. current one even I find bit OTT and I'm when out of a duty, I'm happy just to turn it off.
Idea great with the aura, but the way it looks well I hate to say it but it look rather tacky in it current look, doesn't feel like aura either for a Drk. =/

Agreed,give us the black flames and reduce/delete the red aura and everyone will be happy.

I do not understand the complaints. All of my game settings are on the highest setting and the aura does not look bad on my screen. I wouldn't think different graphics cards would make that huge of a difference... For the people that are complaining, what are you playing on?
