Level 60 BLM rotation!

Hello guys :3 i hope everyone is enjoying heavensward!

So i'm finally level 60 ( even though i got early access, i just reached 60 yesterday lol )
Anyways so i got the new blm skills and because i'm a noob i use it randomly and i have no idea when to properly use them.

So can my fellow blm out there help me out? :3
I'm not doing The limitless blue extreme with a weak blm lol, so i hope i can get help to improve my DPS as well!

A horrible post. It's clear you have some strong personal issues to work through, but please do keep them to yourself. Nobody cares.

On topic, I really do wish I could help but my Black Mage is only 52, so it's got some ways to go before it caps out at 60. I do see a lot of Black Mage's making heavy use of Enochian and blasting out fire IV's and Blizzard IV's as much as they're able though. Seems to be the way Yoshi intended endgame Black Mage's to be.

Get the basic rotation flowing first and then from there you can start weaving in the Opener and when to blow your cooldowns. The BASIC rotation is Fire 3>Enochian>Fire4>Fire4>Fire1>Fire4>Fire4>Blizzard 3>Blizzard4> then repeat from Fire 3 (Remember you're going to have to cast Enochian again eventually but try to get the point where its off cooldown by the time you need to cast it again). Go to a target dummy and get this into muscle memory asap, then from there you can start working on what you want your opening rotation to be and when to blow your big cooldowns like Sharpcast, Raging strikes, convert etc. Its worth noting that Thunder seems to be mostly useless unless you lose Enochian because of boss mechanics (knocked back, stunned, tornado'd etc) and have to resort to your old rotation in 2.0.

Pretty much just get used to having to revert back to the 2.x rotation at a moment's notice if you have to move at all. A lot of the boss fights in Neverreap and Bismarck EX in particular can be hard to keep Enochian up for too long IMHO.

Its not that the new rotation isn't challenging, its just that its kind of exhausting. I wish Enochian wouldn't slowly decrease its maximum timer, makes it impossible to keep it going forever, which I guess might be the intent overall? Just try to keep it up for at least 20-30 seconds so you can repop it manually? Who knows.

To be fair, if you could keep Enochian going forever, You wouldn't use anything but Fire/Blizzard IV and III.
Enochian added in a layer of complexity to the otherwise stagnant BLM rotation, which seems to be a running theme with all the new job skills.

This is how I thought the rotation was when I read tooltips. (Im still lvl 50 blm)
And now that Ive played with a few blms , none of them follows this rotation.

So I was confused if I understood the skills wrong. Im sure you are right though and the DF blms just dont know how to play it.

I kind of follow this rotation. I start with the normal rotation then i use Enochain with Fire/Blizzard IV at the end.
I also try to keep Enochain going as long as possible by using Blizzard IV at the beginning since it increases Enochain's timer.

What a chaos xD i will switch it up and follow what you said :3
