Fantasia or Not Help people choose!

Hey folks! I have a fantasia burning a hole in my pocket and my main character, Isabel, is feeling kinda plain anyways (plus the Midlander frolic...run animation... is getting old). Was thinking elf or dragon-girl, but I threw in a highlander and a miqo too because why not. Any and all feedback is appreciated.

I like your current one the most. The last one is good too but I feel that the colors don't really blend together.


That can't be right, from my understanding Sea Wolves are mostly former pirates and the like, and strive in Limsa so they're bound to be more commonly warriors, machinists or arcanists.
Hellsguards come from the mountains to Uld'ah to find work as bodyguards or fight in the arena as gladiators, which means they make more sense as paladins.

It doesn't matter anyway as all races are pretty widespread in Eorzea, so there's isn't any job that doesn't fit a particular race.

Curious Gorge and his brother are Hellsguard from a mountain village which has thousands of years of heritage in the Warrior tradition. So, lorewise, not just their pigment, it checks out. Mountain village? Hellsguard come from the mountains. I don't know if theirs is the only village with a Warrior tradition though.

It may be we only know of his village and his people and there are many others that we just never see. However based on the facts it would seem Hellsguard is the Warrior tradition.

I cant decide which eye I wanna have limbal ring on. I want both eyes to have it but odd eyes wont let me. I originally started with limbal white eye and didnt even considered limal red.. but now I tried.. and I just cant ;_;

Well when you think about it warriors are probably the most common type of fighters, so it's no surprise Hellsguards would be too since they're a tribe of "warriors" in the broader term.
Although, if you take note of the roegadyn lore, it makes sense for the specific warrior class to be more common in Sea Wolves and paladin to be more common in Hellsguards, if only for their choice of destination and culture.

Well, I still don't know if I should Fantasia or not, and if so which one.

@Morgan: Do the red eye. Laser eyes are cool.

@Isabel Summers: Do Elezen. Not enough exotic elven beauties in Eorzea. Top choice is Roe but you didn't put that as an option, so second choice is Elezen.

You could do the thing a lot of other folk are doing and just try making it black.

I am entertaining two looks, each Roe's that I look up to, but due to Aesthetician hairstyles, tattoos, scars, etc can be changed.

The first look is that of the Marauder guild master Wyrnzoen:



The second look is a more flamboyant version of Curious Gorge's brother (whose name I forget)



While Sea Wolf is better for tanking by like 2 points in STR/VIT, I actually love the look of Hellsguard a tad bit more.

Your guy is fine so do you really want to be an npc's twin ? If it doesn't bother you then I'd say the hellsguard.

I like the original out of all of them, although the3 miqo'te is pretty, too

Limbal ring on white eye definitely wins! Red already pops because of the colour, and limbal ring on white eye makes white eye pop too. Best balance, I think!
