uniqueness you say? Interesting choice of words since the females can wear mostly all the vanity gear even the ones designed for men. If your going to stand by that remark of yours you best be advocating for all male designed gear to be that male only. And just stick to your pretty dresses.

Would be cool to be able to switch between male and female actions and poses if you wanted to. I'm pretty confident that it would already be programmed to support the transformations to various model types just by enabling it. At least assuming they coded it like any reasonable people would have.

No I won't argue there, female Roegy's are my favorite.

Why did you assume they were implying that femininity is a bad thing?

The thing is, femininity is not for everyone. Not all women have to be effeminate all the time. If I'm playing a character that isn't disposed to acting in a feminine fashion, then why should I be forced to have my character behave that way in-game?

My character in particular looks really weird when she's doing the more effeminate emotes. Like she's play-acting at being a girly-girl. It doesn't match her appearance or her implied personality whatsoever. I really wish they'd give us options in this.

PSO2 does this really well by letting you play both male and female emotes completely freely. It has no such restrictions. It's something FFXIV could use dearly.

If anything, the game really badly needs more customization options and really badly needs to free up emotes and animations and even clothing to all characters instead of race-locking and gender-locking all of this junk. It's too bloody restrictive the way it is now. It completely kills character diversity when everyone's forced to be one way because of race or gender.
