They said no housing would be in 3.0 though. And they've said no plenty of time :S
They said no to more inventory space too... but then it turned out that "no" really meant "pay us."
Silence is not a good option here. This thread was started mere hours after the community got their hands on the Au'ra for the first time. It is essential feedback that was offered at the first possible opportunity. Ignoring it is a very bad idea.
Housing is a bit of a different beast than this. They introduced a new type of retainer in the form of the free company airship and hyped the new collaborative content. Here's the problem, you need an FC house to do it. There is a different level of urgency and a bit more historical anger over it. They really did have to say something about it.
I want to be wrong. I want SE to come out with "we're added a horn selector in 3.2". I'm a cynic at heart though.
Yeah, the inventory thing was baffling. I agree that not saying anything leaves a bad taste. Especially when they did answer some of the suggestions people made (the scrip thing for gatherers and crafters? that was one of my big pet peeves answered). I keep being left with the feeling that the message from square is "they'll deal with it for now" and it sits low on the priority list. They said no to more inventory space too... but then it turned out that "no" really meant "pay us."

Insanity is a gradual process, don't rush it - Ford Prefect
Well, we can only hope that continual pressure and support from the thread eventually makes them give in. Cynical or not, I'd hope SE decides to listen and learn from their fans whenever they can, as opposed to whenever it's just easy.
Bump! /10 char
I like the horns from face 4 especially since Au RA sleep on their back. The backwards horns would stick into whatever they slept on. Innkeepers would have to start stocking crowbars to get Au Ra players out of bed. I prefer the face of the backwards horns and the face with the handle bars aka crab claws. Who didn't look at the crab claw horns on the female and think, "Thats where I place my hands!?"![]()
I agree with you! They dont bother me as much anymore but they really need to fix it.. >.>I like the horns from face 4 especially since Au RA sleep on their back. Didn't really follow this thread until i had my Au Ra for a bit. Signs
I'm happy with the horn/face combo I chose, but nonetheless with something as prominent as this I'd appreciate choice. /sign
This whole thing reminds me of the limited character creation in Tera. I hated that I couldn't choose my hair style separate from my ears and tail style as an Elin. I'm sure there was a similar issue with other races. Developers should realize that character creation is a massive factor in peoples enjoyment of the game. The more satisfied someone is with the character they have created the more likely they will keep playing and enjoy it.
