better let her die for real. I'm sick of seeing "dead" characters coming back all the time. It's the reason why FFIV sucks.

I agree. When a storyteller can't commit to writing their characters out of something, the work loses integrity. Finding ways to bring people back from the 'not dead for REALLY real' is about the worst storytelling I can think of.
Then let the Scion's be dead dammit.
They're the worse.
At least Yshtola is starting to become cool.
That or make them more useful....A LOT MORE USEFUL.
Have them accompany us more often.
3.0 has never felt lonely with new friends on our side.
Don't care, kill them off.

The Scions weren't made to look like they're dead to begin with.
the scions were never seen as dead.
only portrayed fighting to the last.
only yshtola and thancred seemed to be buried by ruins. but was apparently teleported away by yhstola.
nanamo's conclusion on the other hand really pissed me off :V

I mean papalymo and yda were buried by a shit ton of punchfire.
At one point when you return to the rising stones you can talk to one of the NPCs standing there and he/she tells you that a ton of corpses were found but those of Yda and Papalymo were not found.
Those 2 are not dead, though I wonder what happened to them
I was so disappointed, talk about a cop-out! All of 2.5 was literally invalidated with that "conclusion". What was the point? That is terrible storytelling.
And I just rewatched the scene, Nanamo was choking! Clutching at her neck Joffrey style, eyes watering struggling to breathe and you mean to tell me that was a "potent sleeping potion?" Okay.

That's pretty much what an FC mate of mine said about Haurchy - Not happy to see him dead, but that someone finally dies when they're 'dead'.
Or, in similar version of his words - "Oops, I died. lol jk I'm alive" (I just don't remember the exact words xD)
