    I find myself in a similar position. Do I just stop playing entirely until DRK is fixed, or start levelling WAR? Because as much as I have faith that DRK will receive the fixes and buffs it desperately needs, it took them a hell of a long time to do anything about WAR, and the devs' attitude of doubt towards the community at the time was... less than impressive.

    Because right now, I'd consider these problems with DRK to render it unplayable. And I don't like paying for unplayable content.

    Same. i probably will just wait patiently for a hotfix. might log in to mess around in non-dungeon content, but otherwise yeah no.

    Grit stance seems to also lower your attack speed. I notice when I turn it on and off my GCD changes. Its not Blood Weapon either, used without. Can anyone else confirm?

    What buffs? I'm not having the same qualms. All Im noticing is the desync between Dark sides cost and natural Mana regen is happening more frequently.

    There is no such thing as natural mana regen while you have Darkside up. It's like Astral Fire in that sense, where you don't regenerate mana while it's up, and the 'uptick' you're seeing is the server refunding the mana that it drained in an attempt to correct itself. Which is still very strange and shouldn't happen.

    Your mana is always regening in darkside. The cost of Darkside is greater then your mana regen in combat so you suffer a net loss.

    Natural mana regen in combat, for me at least, is 138 mp/tick.

    Darkside mp drain per tick - 127 mp/tick.


    If the cost of Darkside is greater than my mana regen, by what you're saying, I should be getting a return of an 11 MP gain. But I am not.

    As I said, natural mana regeneration is turned off while Darkside is running.

    Please visit your nearest training dummy and do some tests.

    If Darkside was like Astral Fire, you wouldn't regenerate MP out of combat. You do regenerate it, but at a slower pace because Darkside is also consuming a portion of that MP you gain back out of combat.

    During combat your passive MP regen is smaller than what Darkside takes away every tick, resulting in your progressively loosing MP in combat unless using MP absorbtion skills (Syphon Strike or... whoever is crazy enough, underwhelming Carve and Spit without Dark Arts. That ofcourse or getting hit by multiple mobs and pop Blood Price). At level 60, the amount of MP that Darkside consumes per tick rolls around 200-300 I think (not counting passive MP regen)

    Please see my previous post on Darkside costs and mana regeneration during combat. I'm not talking about Out of Combat regeneration, here.
