Just wan't to drop a note here. The issue lies mostly with EVGA Cards. They allready posted on the official EVGA forums thaty the will set up an davanced RMA for their 980 FTW models. But i think the problem is very widespread under EVGA cards, especially under overclocked ones. I have an 980 gtx FTW Ac 2.0 and had crashes all over the place. Contacted my retailer this morning getting the answer that i was the 5 customer with the same issue this week with EVGA cards, and they switched them all for an equal model from MSI. I will get mine switched tomorrow and will update here if it fixed my issue. At the moment i run my old 680 gtx, with no crashes so far under dx11 high settings.
Sorry 4 typos, don't have much time right now.

I`m really worried that i'll soon be in the same boat as you, i've ordered a EVGA 980ti SC acx 2.0 , 1 week before heavensward release, and i'm waititng it arrive to change my 970 , but since its a SC one and from EVGA im really really worried ill be having the same problems im having with the 970. I cant cancel the order or change products yet because it was already shipped.

If i still get the same errors on dx11 with it, ill try to change to similar model from another manufacturer. I really liked evga cards, but after this experience i guess im not buying from them anymore
