Beware ninki nankas
Beware ninki nankas
Like, all of them.
Even the guys in Azys Lla take much less time now that my ilvl is creeping up. Before it would take like, thirty seconds while I was there the first time.
Now it's like, ten.
I mean, what, do you want to one-shot them?

Clearly, the best Final Fantasy character is Locke Cole.
Glamour is TRUE ENDGAME
The problem isn't necessarily that dungeon mobs have too much HP. The problem is that there are a lot of people in the game right now that are barely pressing any buttons, and the damage output of the group is horrible. On some dungeon runs, it feels like it is taking forever to kill something. Other times, the enemies die MUCH faster, and the dungeon goes by in half the time. Lots of dps I see are just spamming a 1-2-3 rotation and not giving a hoot about positioning and other skills.
I don't know if people are too busy chatting with linkshell, or if they are asleep from playing non-stop 3 days, or if they just don't feel like using both hands when playing the game. Every time I have a wipe in a dungeon due to people standing in stuff, on the 2nd try we kill the boss in half the time of our first attempt. That only means one thing to me: people are playing with their brains off, and it takes a wipe to get them to try seriously.
This.
Get a full party of ilvl 170+ and mobs melt pretty fast again. Do any of the old level 50 experts at the minimum ilvl at 50 and it would be the same as now.
Monsters that take one full literal minute to kill are tedious and frustrating? Exactly how instant do you need your gratification to be?
As a summoner lvl 60 I can kill lvl 59 mobs in about 8-10 seconds just bursting spells, but then i need to wait a minute to do it again.
The mobs in dungeons got a bit too much hp, but it is fine because when we overgear dungeons they will be like wanderers palace again

Just posting to add my voice to this sentiment. I am nothing but happy with the increased health pool of monsters. ARR's monsters died much to quick, much to often, in my opinion.
A true paladin... will sheathe his sword.
Have you done Neverreap yet?
Because I seriously doubt you've done Neverreap yet if your saying that.
Go back and do Neverreap, then tell me this kind of play is fun. <3
The mobs in Azys Lla are for level 59s and early 60s. After you get ilvl170 gear they are suppost to be easier to kill, probably because you got a base damage upgrade. Also the mobs in Azys Lla have the same health or close to the starting areas as well.
The Sea of Clouds is one of the worst zones, especially for players first coming into it. Way too much HP.
Woah dude, calm down. This isn't about instant gratification, its about fun. I would rather them deal more damage and have less health so they are more challenging, if you have done the high level zones (specifically Neverreap) you will see what i'm talking about.
Yes, it is tedious though especially when one quest yields a very minor experience to your level.
I also see you play a Ninja, a high burst DPS class. Now, go back and level a WHM and tell me its as fun. How about a tank?
Making them deal more damage, but have much less health or other interesting mechanics would go great ways to solving this problem.

I'm a level 52 SCH killing level 59 mobs in Azys Lla in 30 seconds with Bird out, no food.
I'm not sure how much faster you want it to be for the over world, to be honest.
I don't think your reading what i'm saying. I am asking for them to deal more damage and be less of a punching bag. Maybe have more interesting mechanics, like leaps or jumps so its harder to kite them.
