As for the MP-Issues of some folks. Do you remember that you had MP-issues as you were a brand new WHM with ilvl 50-70. Do you remember that it feels like you heal by far not enough to be useful? Well now you are again in exact this situation. This problem will solve as the gearlevel rises. just subtract 100ilvl from your actual gear and you can compare how your gear is compared to the stuff you worn in 2.x.

And for the skills.

Asylum: it's a nice addition and provides a 3rd hot - nothing overwhelming but it's free and comes usefull with partymembers that understand.

Stone III: ok, it's more dps, nothing wrong here. i'm a bit disappointed as it is a new spell and i have to switch my dps-bars everytime i get synched down, but this ist just a 1st-world problem.

Aero III. A AoE DoT without any penalties and a potency that hih even high enough for being used single target. Well, even as my job is to heal and not to deal damage, it is a pretty awesome skill.

Assize: Now that skill is just the best. highest potency damagespell we have at a ridiculous wide range (caution, you add mobs all over the area with it), a instant free medica and a 10% MP regeneration? well this skills does everything we can wish for. in dungeons i use it on CD just for the MP - i only reconsider every time if i wanna use it for damage or to heal.

Tetragammaton: i dont have it yet as i dont have much time to play atm (working working working ^.^) therefore only my theoretical opinion: it''s an benediction light. it's free and of gcd but, same as Assize and Asylum it doenst scale for healing magic increasing effects. Bad for divine seal and even worse for warriors.

but, it is pretty usefull and complements tha whm-kit well without being overpowered

so: please dont nerf Assize, i just am in love with this hell of a skill

They are all really good abilities except maybe for Asylum. The potency is a bit low but that would be fine if it could be affected by Divine Seal. I wouldn't ask this for Tetra, because it's basically a free Cure II every minute or so, and that's fine since it can even crit. My problem with Asylum is how little it actually contributes to healing.

I got WHM to 60 last night and ran all the ending MSQ dungeons / trials and Neverreap and Fractal. I must say, I'm more impressed with the toolkit now than I was back when I first saw the list. It's pretty fun knowing I have all these different cooldowns to use in different instances and layering the right amount of healing for the right times during a boss fight or the right pulls during trash. Yes, it's all healing, but there's enough variety and flavours of healing to make me continue to look at my cool downs and wondering how I should DPS the next part of a fight based on what I have available and what will be coming available. While I was running "low" on MP I never felt I was ever "empty" and just scaled back my usage as needed. Having more oGCD heals that cost 0 MP has been a real benefit to my WHMing and allowed me the ability to just "sit and chill" while I waited for my MP to tick back up in case I over taxed that pool.

Overall, it's fun trying to determine "the right level of healing" with so many different tools available.

Grats on 60! Pretty much how I feel. Not everyone wants to play SCH or a spinoff.

That said, the limited MP can be brutal if the DPS is truly bad. Like, doing less than they could do at level 50 in i110 bad. And you will get those parties sooner or later x.x

Thank ya. It's actually fun to try to weave Aero in since Aero really isn't needed until you start to run a bit lower on MP since Stone III does more in a single GCD versus Aero >>; But I tend to use Aero when I want to weave any oGCDs in like Shroud, Assize, Fluid Aura, etc. It's been interesting to see how to maximize DPS on a WHM.

I saw that post just now =p It's okay, I will eventually. I've gotten so many terrible trials and dungeons that my FC that when they go through something similar, they call it "Ghish-tier difficulty".

In my horror stories post the tank was actually reasonably sturdy (geared, using DCDs...). With DCDs and WHM's nice suit of HoTs, could sneak in *some* DPS on the dread (although that thing has a lot of health). It was just at the very end where, well, you know.
