I've only done this fight twice, but one-shotted it on both times. On first time only half of the party stayed up (and 3/4 of us, myself included, first timers with no knowledge of the fight) and on second time only one person fell down. I don't see what the trouble with it would be, it's not very easy to fall and there's no difficult enrage timer.

I've done it once, and one shotted it with a group that was 6/8 first timers. I don't see how you can be afraid of failing that trial. May as well be afraid of failing the guildhest basic training with the goobbue.

One shotted it even when doing it the first time levelling. It's not really a punishing fight even if people make mistakes you can recover quite fast.

How bad do you have to be to spend 30+ minutes on Ravana?

Roulette is not there just for quick rewards. It's there to help other people queue faster. If you can't grasp that basic concept, maybe stop using roulette completely?

The only time it takes 30 mins is when none of the experienced players speak up and explain things. And wipe once then leave. You're the whole reason its wiping to begin with. There are occasional times new players have learning problems, but it's rare. My first run took about 30 mins, but its because no one explained anything, and we were pretty much just learning it piece by piece on our own. When I did a roulette and got Ravana a couple days later I explained everything to the group, and as new phases came up I'd remind people in chat to find the wall and get to it, or move away from X person or you will die. 5 people got the achievement for beating it their first time, on our FIRST try. So again b4 you abandon a stupid easy fight, try actually explaining things, and being social or something. It's more or less the equivalent to wiping and leaving ifrit hm imho. It's easier then HM titan.

Honestly, I don't even know about that. Pretty much all of Ravana's mechanics are common sense stuff. Went into that fight totally blind. No video. No explanation, nothing. Had no problem at all figuring it out. The only part of the fight I felt at all unsure of was when I, and a couple others got marks above our heads and I was like "I hope this isn't a stacking mechanic." And it wasn't. Seriously, the fight may be a little on the long side, but it is really really easy.

I one shotted it on the first try. Have never had any problems with it, when I get it on DR. I'd rather have Ravana then Steps.

War stories. Me and a friend actually Queued up for Ravana as both healers. In the end from about 40% down..It was just me on WHM and him on AST with the two tanks. All the DPS fell off the map. Ended up getting to about 10 stacks or 9? I forgot. But we still managed to clear it with just two tanks and healers. I just had to do ALOT of Aero and Stone spamming.

Failing a story mode fight? The amount of git gud is too damn high...

I one shot-ed it during early access with one DPS caught off guard and fell down the platform.

How is it... fail-able? This ain't anything near Steps of Faith lol.
