bad lag spikes since heavensward launch

They are in Montreal because of the Square-EIDOS facilities there. Their US offices are smaller footprint operations. They actually used to have a presence in Texas at one time I think, something to do with their online stores and such---may still be there (SE fulfillment center in Carrollton is where my token came from in 2009). Not likely setup to handle a big server farm sort of thing though, whereas the EIDOS facilities they acquired a while back were already setup for what they needed.

As to the lag issues... may want to get your route to the servers analyzed, or at least the neolobby02/04/06 addresses for the lobby servers in Canada.

Its a damn pain to have to do all this crap just for a lil lag. Im kinda screwed atm anywho cause i dont have a pc just a PS4 to do what lil I can. At any rate i did all the usal stuff u can do (ie reset modem, wire my ps4...) Even went as far as to change to another DNS (Googles). BTW Raist i read some other ur other posts and they have been helpful, but like i said im limited cause i only have a PS4. EDIT: Forgot to say I know PSN is havin some issues lately wonder if there stuff can cause what im getting seeing as how ive narrowed it down to that or the distance to canada. And neolobby servers Plz explain that part lol.
