Dll injection based bots is one of the easiest cheats to catch in a game. Se could use a punk buster program fairly cheap. Why they want to go with a slow 3 man team beats me unless they are interested in keeping a high player base with people they feel only cheat casually like recreational dope users.

It took... at least 10 reports to get rid of the bots in North Shroud on Excalibur, and they came back under new names the following patch. To which more reports were made and they disappeared.... after a month.

I seem to recall the game doesn't offer any EXP once you're 6 levels above the FATE/Monster rank. I know FATES themselves still offer EXP but it's trivially little.

As for players doing this... they're likely doing this so they could "world first" Alexander, and it would be an opportune time to report all this behavior before Alexander is out.

I'm sure that if you level sync you get EXP. Unless you're already capped that is. Even a small amount of EXP is valued if you can zerg it every minute or so.

You see people at like lv58 here so the fates in the HW zones are dead.

Fates in HW zones are dead because the XP sucks, it's actually a lot more efficient (and easier) to do fates in original zones, more XP/Hr, just another example of awful planning for SE with this expansion.

I believe exp stops in North than at 57. So if you see someone 58 grinding FATEs there, chances are they forgot to turn off their bot.

Nope, not at all, it is perfectly reasonable, I do alot of reporting this sort of thing, its a drag.. just not a drag that is new.

An army of dreadwyrm bots is shiny and special but sadly also entirely expected at this point because as stated in the part of the post you cut out square will never be able to fix the issue without more people.. /alot/ more people. And even with a counter army it will still take a long time.
