Would you want everything cool handed to you? What would there be left to work toward after that? These things will eventually be easy to obtain (just like all the other vanity gear is fairly cheap now) but not many people are at the cap and there aren't enough crafters and materials in circulation yet. Give it time.

Gods forbid players have a goal to work towards and content to keep them busy...

It's exactly when the Coeurlskin bikini set came out. Just wait until more people can make it, or wait for more patches for it to be considered old content.

If vanity was easy to obtain i would probably cancel my subscription between patches. Vanity is whats fun in this game

...yes, well, I'm sorry, I thought this was a game and not a job - dunno about others, but that's what I have if I want to work. And it's something I get paid for, not something I spend money on.

There are already more than enough parts that feel more like chores instead of fun. (Want goals to work for? Hunt achievements. Do raids. Do PvP. Get all your jobs and classes to 50 60 and gear them up. Then do it again with retainers. More than enough to work, especially if you're not playing 24/7.) And yeah, surely, being teased for weeks with "cool stuff" and then having to wait months (or 1+ year) to be able to have it is just awesome! Yeah, best thing indeed, seeing beach sets released in the summer and getting to being able to actually have them in the middle of winter. Or next spring. Much sense. Such logic. Wow.

All I'm saying is some things were just nice if they didn't become the most difficult/complicated stuff to obtain, every now and again.
