Synastry is a bit op.

I understand that astrologians are a few % under the white mage in healing but being able to solo heal both tanks in extreme fights is a bit absurd in the power curve. Se dropped the ball letting this ability pass the QA check balancing spells out for new jobs.

The recast seems incredibly low for how strong the ability is. A 50% boost to heals is way above what any other healer has for its short cooldown.

It's a nice tool for AST to have, one that actually plays the support role nicely since it allows the other healer to go DPS for a while when both tanks are tanking something.

I think he is trying to play it off as 100% of heal on tank A and 50% heal on tank B equals 150% healing achieved.

While technically right, a good AST will go beyond that.

Technically, but that is like saying any AoE on a short timer is OP because every target hit by it receives 100% of the spell effect. 800% healing boost spam!

It's the only decent cooldown skill that the astro has and you want it nerfed? O.o

I love playing astro, but divine seal (30% increase heals, 15 duration, 60 sec cd) and fey illumination (20% increase heals for everybody, 20 sec duration, 120 sec cd) are way better.

In theory, a 50% extra heal on ONLY the other person effected by synastry is definitely not up to par. Divine seal and fey illumination effects every heal.
