Actually they're probably just trying to get a response back from the devs. Kind of like the Eorzea remap thread. It took well over a week or two before there was a response because they wanted to say it correctly. We'll get a response.

Insulting people in the counter argument isn't going to change their minds. It will make them stick harder to their opinion regardless of whether or not it's right, and think less of your opinion simply because you insulted them. In essence, if you want to try and change someone's mind, come up with a well thought-out response and don't be a dick.

So today I had the same thing as video in OP happen bout 3 times.
First a miqote was chasing a lalafell around a solid structure but on my screen they were running through and over it with frequent pauses.
Then a random LS member started running circles around me yet I saw the exact thing in the video from OP. They were running in straight lines through me, stopping then another line forming a 3 point triangle. When I said "Stop running triangles around me!" They replied "I'm not I'm runnning in a perfect circle silly! :P"
Lastly while out doing my SP thang I saw a guy running for dear life towards me, I charge my cure "Target it out of range" he dies at my feet. I try to raise "Target is out of range" So I had to go all Miss Cleo talking to the dead guy to determine where he was on his end so I can raise get in range of his real self.
The last example is the most harmful one we have to deal with daily there first 2 are just annoying.

sure...they're trying to get a response....XD... just check the dev tracker, before having an answer we must wait for some jpn guy to ask the question, yoshi will answer (obviously only to jpns) and then the great Reinheart would give us a translation... that says alot about this game and its "devs", without even needing to log on >.>

Either that means you think it's great they go to all that translation trouble to understand our concerns and provide an accurate response in a language we can understand, or...
...judging by the snark emote...
...you are also actively advocating that English speaking developers like Blizzard not communicate with their English speaking players until a proper translation can be made into the languages of every country WoW is sold in because you believe in this principal so strongly, and you want SE to follow suit?
So, which is it?

whiteknights....sigh...
edit: to amyrae, i think it's more fair like that, yes, both wow and ffxiv are out in the world, not in the usa or jpn only. so the second, as it could even save trouble created by mistranslation and consequent explaination of what's going on- bug fixes / suggestions are ok to be answered asap imo, but when it comes to news about future patches, i'd prefer them to wait and post the translated version on all forums.
edit 2: also sorry for going off topic, i'll shut up now

finally witnessed this. was easy to see on auto follow with 4 people following. even though it was on auto and the lead never stopped the 2nd and 3rd person kept stopping randomly.
Not only did you see the characters move properly in XI they also had a LOT and I mean a LOT bigger draw distance.
I assume (note total hearsay based on what Yoshida wrote about recently) it's because in XIV compared to XI you are carrying a lot more knickknacks around and that's what causes a huge server load.
They try to combat this by updating the character position with a sparser timing and also when XIV characters are within a certain distance they just disappear completely so that the character data doesn't have to be processed.
I think this causes the game to have a really limited draw distance on other characters and it affects the gameplay a lot when travelling in a party between camps because if you're not close enough it's impossible to follow your party members without constant map-checking.
Also it just looks very 90's even on a high-end PC.
Bump for bump's sake!

Bump. Every dev response lately has been "server limitations." We want a response in regards to said limitations!
