Heavensward CE Physical Early Access code is going to expires on June 27th.

Just got off the phone with SE, was on hold for 2 hours. I have some good and bad new for all of you waiting on your CEs. According to the SE employee i spoke to, EA does not end on the 27th, but at the end of the day of the 27th, meaning saturday at midnight is the lockout. Unfortunately, there is nothing they can do about extending EA because of technical reasons, it it set to end at midnight on the 27th and there is nothing we or they can do about it. We also lose the game time spent waiting on our physical codes, because the game time builds up for the veteran rewards, and it is "not entirely lost". Fortunately, the CEs seem to all have cleared customs today, some people were lucky and some weren't. Just a waiting game for the unlucky ones now. Mine will get here on monday, most of yours as well, while the ones who live farther away will probably get theirs on tuesday.

For me thats about 8hrs from now since I believe the NA times are set off of Pacific time based on their times for maintenance and such.

This must be a Montreal thing, I have a friend in Victoria that got his on the 23rd.

It basically seems to depend on what processing center the package went through. Seems like only Ontario eastward were affected.

While in game support has always been rather good for me the customer support reps outside the game usually tend to leave much to be desired in honesty and knowledge. A call center employee is usually 100% held to standard by call volume alone and will do whatever it takes to get you off the line and the next customer on it. Only Battle.net support has actually seemed useful in regards to customer support the rest of the industry both games and companies in general your just a tick in their counter.

From what i understand, the lockout is only for HW content, meaning as long as you are not an Au Ra, equipped with AST/DRK/MCH, or in a HW area when the lockout happens, you are fine and will be able to log in and play. Just locked out of HW content afterwards. For those of us who fantasia'd over to Au Ra, we are completely screwed until we get our CEs.

And see, I was told that if your character had even unlocked any of the new jobs or got the new pets, or new flying mount compass, or ANYTHING related to HE and a level over 50, you were locked out. This is infuriatingly confusing.

Makes sense, a single experience point over lvl 50 is HW content. But i dont see how they can lock everyone out of their characters for just touching HW content, its just not right. SE has to find a way around this whole lockout issue, they cant keep us from our chars because they let us try out their expansion early...

Early Access is not even a trial code, it's actually legit players who actually pre-ordered the game with paid money. It should already be unlocked or extended. Another word ready for Heavensward. Grace period is way too short, everyone know some shipping can take up 3 weeks total.

There was another thread about this where another player said you can, as long as you don't log out in a HW-zone. Even if you are an Au Ra, above level 50 or playing a new job. I'm assuming you simply have your level synced to 50 on a non-HW platform and if you change out of HW job, you can't switch back.
