suddenly everyone is a game designer.
"my job isnt the best"
everything is fine. whats broken is the unexpectedly low amount of exp HW fates reward.
My cousin said he doesn't like what they did with the Controller.
He uses L1 auto run when he fights in dungeons or in world map, Now he doesn't feel like he has control over his character.
Said when he used it back then it wouldn't tug me towards monsters automatically and now well....
He said when he uses L1 to auto run then throws a shield lob it makes him run towards that enemy or if he swings a TP move it pulls him in different directions, says its the worst thing SE did to the controller and cannot use the auto run function hardly anymore while fighting, he said it was so smooth and they ruined it.

That's strange, i happen to play using a controller as well and i haven't experienced any of the issues you have listed, are you certain that your cousin didn't change any of the controller defaults / bindings themself? I ask only because my controls haven't changed at all in the slightest between pre-expansion and expansion release, everything still functions the same for me as it always has.My cousin said he doesn't like what they did with the Controller.

I'm not entirely sure this is an issue on SE's end.
Nope he didn't I seen what it does. That's strange, i happen to play using a controller as well and i haven't experienced any of the issues you have listed, are you certain that your cousin didn't change any of the controller defaults / bindings themself? He uses L1 to basically auto run and targets enemies, once he uses shield lob it drags him to the enemy and won't stop auto running, its like its odd he said it wasn't like that only after patch it happened, he looked into settings only seen that they added the flight stuff.
like its weird he does TP moves does same thing pulls him straight to the targets might be a bug? Also controller it okay had it for a long time and its on the pc.

If there wasn't already a history of job fixes and adjustments due to various factors like performance (Summoner / Warrior), being under or over tuned for content (Summoner / Bard), or players utilizing them in a way that the developers themselves weren't expecting (Ninja), this thread and the comment might have been clever.
Job adjustments are expected, especially with 3 new jobs a 10 level increase and a change in battle design, Players voicing their opinions now rather than later will make it easier for the developers to know what parts need tuning and how.

Player feedback has prompted class adjustments in the past. Some players do know better because some things slip past the devs(like a better rotation than the devs originally thought up).
TBH it feels like this time they were overly careful with the new classes; because last time ninja was OP at release. lol
ofc players know better, whole games have died because devs refused to listen to anything.
Im not saying every little reddit clown is correct, but knowledge about what is wrong trickles down from top raiders and theory people to the general player base.
