A serious discussion about abridging the story quest 1-50 (discouraging new players)

i PERSONALLY like the filler and fetch quest that are between the important parts of the main story like helping Tataru be more helpful with the Scions for example that have no bearing on the overall story arc...and i would be ok if those would at this point the life of the game made it as normal side quest, since they have as a whole started moving to more to the point main story quest

what im against is completely making the story optional ie the preparation quests to rescue the Scions....why? cuse im playing this game because of that.....I came into this game expecting a story driven MMO where i have to do story to move on, even the raids are tied to the story..if i wanted i game where i could just skip story and just do raids id be playing something else

Yep, just like SWtoR.. probably THE MOST story driven MMO on the market currently.

and guess what their expansion this year is an overhull of the story due to the fact that it become so bad going forward

Because that generally what JRPG does its there style of RPGing and then there's western style, that I'm assuming your use to. People like yourself are pretty much demanding a total different demographic of people to conform to so called standard western RPG playing style, you chose to enter into a JRPG and now demanding it change to fit your preference of play that how it affect people two different demographic of people with different standards are bound to collide almost like religion ironically, I would also say the same thing if the roles were reversed.

If u dont enjoy the game u playing then go play something else, dont try to chance the game, that others enjoy, in order to fit ur play style.... With the amount of MMOs u prolly gonna find something

Is removed. What negatively changes for you when you log in and go to play the game as you would otherwise? Don't tell me what you would do. Tell me why you would do it.

I did you chose to ignore it because it doesn't fit your own narrative your ideology blinds you to it, how one is effected my be different from how you might perceive it. The thing is... the only way to prevent ppl from making other ppl rush is to make rushing impossible.
