Just got to 60. Crafting is pretty much the same rotations from ARR.

The only good skill that has been added is precise touch (it's extremely good though). Muscle memory is ok but not mandatory.
I'm already HQing levels 60 with ease. Seems like the last level 60 recipes are far easier than the old 4 star master crafts were in ARR.
My only concern is that the craft class quests seem to be useless. I've done all the culinarian ones expecting the ultimate right/left hand tool and instead I was given 3 crappy level 4 materias xDD from the last level 60 class quest from culinarian.
The top tier equipment at the moment is the HQ crafted one.

Oh yeah, haven't mentioned the specialist skills. This is my humble opinion, but they feel extremely underwhelming (at least the culinarian ones, I don't know if the other crafts have the same ones or others that are better).

Very disappointing to hear, but I guess maybe it's good about the Main Hand / Off Hand?

Perhaps they will continue our Lucis Tool upgrade path? (which would be nice as long as it's not as punitive as the original version of Regular > Supra > Lucis. Although the Lucis step seems like they heard players' complaints as it was less grindy / more fair (didn't have to Reclaim) compared to earlier steps for Master Book II's and the grind to Supra / Artisan originally.)
