where are the Elezen fanbase at?

I've tried elezen a few times, but I've always been a fan of small races. Especially because mounts feel soooo slow when they're big and aren't nearly as cute as a little lala mount.

I'm going to try au ra because they're new, but I know I'll go back to elezen eventually, even have a 2nd fantasia ready.

I don't really understand the dislike of elezen... except maybe the neck, haha. Movement seems fine to me!

Personally I find their necks to be an attractive trait on them, as it works for their build and movement. Do I find it attractive irl? No, just like how many would find a 5 foot cat humanoid to be unattractive. :P

I race changed into an Au Ra and actually really love the design I came up with for him (my signature) but when my CE stuff came I went back to being an Elezen. Not being a Duskwight felt weird after all me and my Duskwight went through in ARR.

I played an Elvaan for 7 years, and was excited for Elezens in FFXIV but they just...run weird and the hairstyle I used in FFXI doesn't look that great in FFXIV. That's why I personally don't play as one. But when I see one I always /wave and /joy! haha.

This, this right here. I am in the same boat. 7 years as a spike haired blonde Elvaan in FFXI. I was excited to create the same Elezen in FFXIV only to be completely disappointed with them. The only way you can get a beard is to select the old man face. Their run animation is terrible. Their movements look like they are puppets held up by string. IMO Elves should be fluid and graceful, they are the total opposite in FFXIV. I made the switch to Roe in 2.0 beta and loved it, never going back.

Same here actually. I get complimented for my elezen quite a bit =) They're really beautiful, just have to find the right gear for them =)

I wish they had better hair styles. The ones avaible are mostly very short and way to hippster for my taste. I want classy long hair (like you can find it on Au Ra males). Also the beards are horrible.

Faerie server has me and I'm a big enough Elezen fan to make up for a whole damned server.

I actually had a pretty Elezen alt in 1.0, but when ARR hit, her head shrunk in a super weird way and I couldn't bear it so I turned her into a Lala ;_;
Also, I like looking up to people, not down on them :3

Right now, despite many former Elezen switching to Au Ra, it still doesn't feel like there's any real lack of them, mainly because 99% of the NPC population in the HW areas are Elezen xD

I really love all the races; Everywhere I go there is beautiful eye candy of some kind or another. It's just Elezen in particular sing to me. Wandering around Ishgard is a like a dream come true!

My main has been an Elezen since way back. Even in XI, I was an Elvaan. Some people don't like the poportions of the race. And sometimes others have to small of of a head. But a minor flaw for such elegance and beauty. Plus Shiva is an Elezen. Where Titan must be am deformed oversized Lalafell.
