Elezen here. I'll admit sometimes I feel tempted to Fantasia into a Hyur or an Au Ra, but I just can't bring myself to. Maybe it's because I don't see the same issues everyone seems to have with the way they look/move, though I do still feel a bit...off whenever discussion comes up.

Tasty Necros. But really it's still a thing. I kinda want to become an Elezen again since I've been all other races and had the most fun being a fop Elezen. Lala are great and all but I can't stand looking like a kid.

I'm going to try au ra because they're new, but I know I'll go back to elezen eventually, even have a 2nd fantasia ready.
I don't really understand the dislike of elezen... except maybe the neck, haha. Movement seems fine to me!
As a female, I find the Elezen males the most physically attractive in the game.
So basically, I have no idea why people don't play them.

I agree. The only things I've noticed are that you definitely have to put more thought into the glamours on elezen (and roes) than you do for miqot'e and hyur. The body shape makes some of the outfits look doofy. Also, they skimped a bit on the facial hair and hairstyle options I think. The facial hair especially. I mean really on the facial hair.

re-read this thread again. you'll see lots of ex-elezen turned into an Au Ra now.
Not me. I'll never sell out. Elezen for life. I get so many compliments for mine too.
