    Game is unplayable, I request a refund.

    I've been trying to play for last 5 days, and I haven't been able to play at all.

    You only get 30 days to play, I would like be able to get what I pay for. I'm not getting what I put my money down for, so I would like a refund.

    I tried getting support, but the only response I got was a canned "Turn it off and on again", which didn't fix anything as the problem is on Square Enix's end.

    I've sent in 3 different tickets for 3 different problems. One was given the canned answer, one hasn't been answered yet, and the other was sent to the EU support center, making it invalid for some reason.

    This isn't just happening to me either. A friend of mine is having the same issues. They did manage to get in once, but they were immediately kicked from the server, along with 2000 players, which made for an interesting queue up.

    I would only be happy with a refund at this point, as I'm really tired of these issues.
    I payed for a game that doesn't function as advertised.

    One suggestion: Sleep early, wake up early for no queue.
    Its right after expansion day, you are not the only special snowflake who has this problem.

    To be frank, you're going to have to contact customer support directly. Nobody here can help with that, including (I believe) the community team.

    It's been happening for a week, I tried logging in at various times.
    Saying "You're not the only one" is very invalidating.
    No one should be invalidated about a very big problem as paying for a game that has a 30 day time limit, only to have that time wasted due to not being able to log in at all.

    With launches, this scenario is a VERY common issue. Especially so with games that have to access online. Every online game has been wrought with issues upon release. It's always best to wait a few weeks, or even a month after release before testing. Granted you've already bought the game so, whether you want to continue is entirely up to you at this point. I would suggest in the future to test trial on free days when the initial rush dies down. The only thing you can really do is get in touch with the customer service center and see what options are available to you. Good luck.

    Windows users know that you never update to the newest version of Windows until after the first service pack because there are TONS of bugs to fix. The same can be said of anything really.

    The point of this thread was to get pointed in the right direction on where to refund. Or what I could do about it.

    Also typing about 1000 characters isn't really that much effort c:
