Have you tested Time Dilation and Celestial Opposition yourself?

Haven't bothered to try this, but I was under the impression that even if you extend the target's beacon duration, if your buff falls off, then you're unable to split heal. I could be wrong though.

You are right.
Time dilatation and Celestial Opposition only work on your buff.
AST IS NOT A SUPPORT CLASS. Strop spreading misinformation. It is a HEALER class.
Yes, both tested numerous times in level 60 dungeons. Only works on your own buffs, making them more suitable for diurnal sect. Now you know how senseless Opposition is.
Time dilation is alright, it's pretty decent to extend a precious RRed card by 15sec. If it affected all buffs on the target, that would be too unbalanced:
25sec Hallowed Ground
30sec Vengeance
25sec Perfect Balance
35secs Blood for Blood
30sec Shroud of Saints
30sec Divine Seal
That would totally throw the game out of whack, so it's understandable that it only affects your own buffs. But Opposition only extends your own buffs by a pitiful 5 secs, on a 150sec CD.

Just healed a few 60 dungeons with properly geared tanks and realized that I previously encountered poorly geared ones (me too, so I was guilty). One of the worst was a Pally who only had 10k health, pulling 3 packs of mobs at a time and eating all sorts of aoes. They were all in a rush to farm Law and that's why they were speedrunning with level 56-58 gear (i145), made me feel weak as a lamb. Those were easily one of the worst healing experiences but I am to blame as well.
Now that I've bought a few pieces of Law, it's been much better. Met a warrior who was mostly in ilvl 160 with a whopping 20k health, twice as much as mine! Popped the appropriate CDs, avoiding aoes. Healing was such a breeze and I could finally afford to dish out DPS buffs and add in my own as well.
I am only lvl 54 AST. And while I love it, I love the idea of it more.
Thing is, when the choise in end game content raids will be between WHM or SCH or AST, WHM & SCH will always be prefered. There is really no way around it. Something has to change. Either the cards buffed, or the heals be buffed.
In dungeons, when the tank, despite being in the dungeon for the first time, insists upon speed running it, keeps taking damage like crazy, I can not afford to click on cleric stance. I have to stick to healing and cards and nothing else. And even though I am fine with it, since we have somehting unique - the cards, that is simply not enough when it will come down to end game content.
I just hope that it wont end up that no one will play AST in end game content, cause why bring unpredictable (mostly) minor (yet good of course) buffs, and less potent heals, when you can bring reliable WHM and SCH.
Edit: If WHM and AST regen affects can stack, why then is it not possible to stack SCH shields with AST? Makes no sence to give one and take away the other.
Honestly in order to bring AST up to par they need to reduce the cooldowns on all the card skills. IMO 20 sec for draw, 40 for spread, 15 for RR, 60 for shuffle.
I feel like either get rid of the -50% potency from aoe RR or increase the potency of all the cards.
Bole and Balance are fine as they are. Spear needs a rework to affect cooldowns that are already on cooldown and not the ones you haven't used yet. Arrow is definitely fine as it is. Ewer and Spire should have 30 second durations.
The biggest thing they need to change though is definitely the card skill cooldowns, they're way too long on something that's too much rng to be reliable.
Collective Unconscious should work similar to BLM ley lines. You cast the bubble and the bubble is created and you can MOVE while inside of it but as soon as you move outside of it the effect ends.
Granted I'm only a level 45 AST but these are my thoughts from what I've seen and what I've read and played.
Oh also Noct Sect needs a very very large buff or a rework but this is from what I've read.
If anyone has actually gotten the time to use noct sect let me know how it is compared to SCH.
I see some people love it and others hate it.

First sry for my bad english .. german guy here^^
I think this Stance is much more powerfull with the right stats.
U get 5% increased potency on ur heals so there is one thing i have a question ... it increse the potency of ur spell by 5%? like 100potency+5%? or will it increase ur heal spell by 5% like 1000er heal+5%.
If it increase ur healing done by 5% a full Piety/Det build would might be powerfull for high average shields it would maybe outperform the Succor from SCH if u reach a point with the stats.
But maybe i just thinking wrong it is just an idea =P
