will be the same as when ARR was released *facepalms* not gonna make everything available from day 1 = = future patches will add more stuff.. whats the point of adding everything from the get go??

When ARR was released we had Dark Light and Crafted gear of the same ilvl. Don't see why they couldn't have added some ilvl160-170 crafted gear to go along with Doman Gear.
Well if it was around that time I guess it would ok. They still don't have any of the Alexander Raid gear added to the database, so I guess they could add some higher ilvl crafted gear then.
There are caps. What those are idk.
Also ilvl150 HQ (left side) is like 10 stat points lower than the ilvl170 doman gear(which you can upgrade to ilvl180), I doubt those Tier V materia's will make up for that much of a loss, Jewelry is like a 5 stat point difference, Might be worth it for some. I'm not a numbers guy.

They also said BCoB was beaten way too fast because they literally didnt anticipate players pushing the limits with pentamelded crafted gear. It seems they are trying to learn from past mistakes and intentionally limiting the ilvl of crafted pieces to offset this balance. When ARR was released we had Dark Light and Crafted gear of the same ilvl. By the time Alexander raid comes most everyone( who raids anyways) will be ilvl170/180 or damn near close. I bet the hard mode will be beaten the first week it comes out. They also said BCoB was beaten way too fast because they literally didnt anticipate players pushing the limits with pentamelded crafted gear. I'm not 100% sure, I'm just going by later updates in ilvl... But didn't they release the i70 crafted gear a bit later on? 2.1 or something, I mean. Just like they released i90 crafted gear when you could get i100/110 gear, and i110 crafted when you could get i120/130.
So to add crafted on par with highest gear level right from the start doesn't seem too reasonable to me =) Seems a lot better to add it later when it's possible (but still slightly tricky) to get higher ilvl gear from raids or limited tomestones.

At 2.0 Launch we had ilvl70 craft gear. I had made millions of Gil selling Tome items, I used that Gil to buy HQ ilvl70 Gryphonskin gear for MNK. I'm not saying that gear should be the highest ilvl, but we should have ilvl160-170 craft gear. We can get ilvl180 atm, and then in two weeks we can get the new Tome/Raid gear, IDK what those ilvls are.I'm not 100% sure, I'm just going by later updates in ilvl...
