Your missing the point people are making, it has nothing to do with early access.
It is not the same thing. You chose to order the physical edition and therefore knew would be at the mercy of the postal service or third party store might have bought from. You would have every right to complain to those services if failed to deliver on time.
The difference is we chose to order direct from SE themselves and there is no additional delivery period required. If we were to apply your argument it would be like we failed to get ours on time from our ISP cutting us off or internet going down which is not the fault of SE and we by proxy would not be complaining to SE about their service, we would complain to our ISP's etc.
However that is not the case so we have the right to complain since SE at 100% at fault and it is a problem with them breaking their promise on their service we bought from when they did not send codes out on time before the servers got back up of which can only either be from incompetence, laziness or software/hardware problems maybe their end but if that were the case they would of owed us an explanation/forewarning before the servers went back up.
People are dying of hunger and starvation in this world too but I don't think that means I cannot complain if see someone spitting in for example the food might have ordered. First world problems maybe...but I hate this whole ideology that because someone else somewhere else has it worse that it somehow means you have no right to complain. It is more than acceptable to complain and try to fix world poverty and also try to stop people spitting in your food, it is not a case of only one or the other in my opinion. If I had chosen to order a physical copy then I would already accept that delivery could be more varied, I bought digital and direct from SE to avoid that situation.
I just wanted what I paid for at the time they said I would get it which was upon the start of full release, it was salt in the wound that the EU SE store purchasers look like might be getting second rate service in comparison when the US and JP stores promised the same thing yet the JP one and US one managed to deliver on time. It annoys me that their EU customers have to put up so often with second rate quality service compared to the US and JP regions which seem to have done what they promised and delivered the codes on time so I have to wonder why the EU staff were incapable of offering the same level of service...
I did get my code now but it is almost an hour late after the servers went back up and I am betting there are other people who bought from the EU store who are still waiting...so consider this post/response also on their behalf.
