Idk, I think it's really cool.
I'm a huge crafter, but do you really feel you need to suck every single dime out of people?
There are like a MILLION new recipes, and you are bothered by the very few HQ items that are given by the story?
Wow.

Wow.

You are here to make fancy glamours.

Suck every single dime out of people? Do you even know how much it costs to level a crafter? Do you even have the slightest notion before you blab about us being greedy? I craft, not for money, but for myself and my FC, but crafting is expensive and if I don't sell, I don't make money to buy mats, which means I'll have to be self-sufficient if I wanna level crafters and that's not how economy works (everyone being self-sufficient). NQ gear should be more than enough for people to level, HQ gear should be for those who feel like doing their best at all times and have an easier time. Now everyone gets to be "top tier" while levelling, which makes no sense at all. Next time, please review what the message was and don't make yourself look foolish.

Two sets of gear every 2 levels, one melee and one caster/ranged. Full left side plus neck and ear.
My biggest issue with it is I converted my last set of gear when I got upgrades, and it gave tier 2-3 materia. Yes, ilvl133 gear gave me a Battledance II materia.
Master book 3 doesn't have any recipes for items that are not listed in the market board and lodestone. The highest tier crafters can make are the adamantite stuff and chivalric body piece. That's it! The rest are just a bunch of minions, chocobo bardings, glamour and furnitures.

All the new items craftable i150 can be buying in the lvl 60 area to the npc for 25K gils max and in HQ ! ...
So Thx yoshida for destroying the economy and craft ...
Tu brille aussi fort qu'un miroir de bordel
You can buy HQ items from vendors? Oh that's really bad. It's not easy to make those.
I also thought it was a little strange to have so many HQ gear pieces coming from story quests.
But I think this is the new direction the game is going, as they mentioned that previous 2.xx MSQ are giving up to soldiery gear for quest completion instead of those food rewards we got back then.
So that's what new players are getting used to, i guess?
That said, not every HQ gear piece of every new level is available through quests.
Crafter/gatherer quests rewards us with NQ gear from what I've seen, and there's a very significant difference between HQ and NQ... So maybe we should just focus on crafting DoH/DoL gear?
If they could at least be converted into grade V materia... but square enix already said the current gear will NOT reward crafter/gatherer grade V materia when converted..
The issue with crafted gear being bought is a more fundamental one, I think. Materials and high quality crafted gear prices are pretty much going on faith that eventually crafters will be very important again, which we don't know will be rewarded.

I dont see how the HQ stuff is that big a deal. People tend to start buying the HQ stuff when they do other classes through it, and they wont have those quests their second time.
