Day 3 not being able to log on, considering doing a paypal refund

I have nothing vested in this game, as you can see from my level I am a returning player. I am seriously jaded with not being able ot login to Aether for the 3rd day in a row now, and nothing but bs from SE. If I cannot play during early release, when the fuck will I be able to play? Tomorrow it comes out full force, what am I looking at here? A month from now? Fuck that. Seriously looking into getting my money back, I paid to play this game, not to get the same errors every time I log in.

Its up to you but realistically the servers will be back up at most in a few days. Although its not much of an excuse, this is not a new thing for FFXIV. Everyones talking about demanding compensation or w.e nonsense but in a little while it'll be back to regular business. Believe me I'm annoyed cause I have like 1-2 times a week to play too but I payed for the expansion...and I'm getting that. The preplay would have been nice but it was a slight bonus, nothing more. Probably going to get flamed for it but eh, too old or whatever to take this stuff seriously anymore.
Your money mate, but I'd seriously hold out on it...is a few days really worth not enjoying this game for months if not longer?

Usually things take a couple weeks to settle down. Dont hold your breath on this issue getting fixed. Either transfer to a low population server or stop playing. ):

Seems to me this is what they want...people to buy transfers to other servers. More money for them right.

If they haven't fixed it or said anything by this point then there is no chance of a fix. I also highly doubt any sort of compensation. You can try refunding the expansion but keep in mind (this is probably just a stupid rumor) they apparently ban your account afterwards.

It's a temporary ban until you pay back the money. Because they cant just take the xpac off of your account.

I only heard they did that with WoW during the whole D3 Promotion where if you paid for a years worth of WoW time they gave you the Tyreal Chargers mount.

If you refund charges on services that you've used AT ALL, it's fraud and they ban you.
