I have a laptop with NVIDIA 840 M and running ~50FPS on High Laptop...if I swap to DX11...will my FPS drop? :/
It's a shame the low resolution textures cause some of the DX11 features to go haywire.
Namely the Parallax Occlusion.
Man when the sun rises, some places are just so beautiful that it makes me want to cry.
That being said, yeah, that parallax is a weird one...

Huh....I never noticed those texture bugs.
My eyes are not that good at noticing little detail without comparing them side by side. Being on a PS4 I'd like to ask if anyone had taken some pictures of things before and after DivX11. To make it more obvious for some folks and to better show off the before and after from a user's perspective. Other than the nice high end rigs used in the promo clips of specific things..
BTW are the graphics only that noticeable on PC's or are they still about the same on the PS4?
That distortion almost looks like the one in Predator, when they are invisible

Still no proper AA.
DX11 client is a great addition, have really enjoyed the update.
Talking about the parallax/tesselation (was called that in the demo client's options)- there are also some rocks in southern thanalan (I'm sure the texture in other areas too, just haven't checked) can be quite obvious and actually move, visually you can watch it move like it is water or something when you walk lol. Wonder if they have a place for us they want to report that sort of thing. Not saying DX11 is bad of course for the gloom hunters, much rather have DX11 as is than not lol.
HD Textures would be above amazing.
