If you want me to be blunt, sir, a long queue time actually means that the game was successful- more successful than the developers expected because they already added and reinforced the servers.

It was pretty clearly stated on quite a few places, including the Early Access page where you enter the code. However, you are correct, it is NOT stated on the actual pre-order page for the game on the SE website, which is an oversight on their part.

Nor is it on the PSN Play Store - where I pre-ordered it.

This guy is kind of right, where ...

* In order to enjoy the benefits of early access to Heavensward content, you need to be playing FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn and have made sufficient progress in the main scenario.

But it's vague, and can mean whatever you want it to mean, and seems only to apply to early access.

Regardless, it doesn't matter. I should've waited until I had a character worthy of Heavensward before buying. I'll be more cautious in the future with SE's DLC stuff. 仕方ない。*shrugs*

But enough about my issues. I think I derailed this thread enough. So, back on topic:

I'm on a JST low-pop server, and logged on at EST prime time login times. No issues all weekend. Understandably, for those on heavy-pop servers, it was pretty rough, but as some have said, not too bad compared to some of the WoW horror stories. lol

It is way more addictive than Candy Crush I tell you!! Then again, I am playing on Japanese server clusters.... so nice, so quiet, so easy to log in, since my prime time is their morning time. And their prime time is my working time
