    Ok, now that pre-order has been out what are your guy thoughts on the two classes and their skills?

    I've been leveling WHM up to 57 at the writing of this - do love the new abilities and having over 9k MP at this level.

    Don't like the Holy damage nerf, doesn't seem to be as effective in groups unless you are hoping for the Stun effect. Assize is gonna help offset this though (don't need Cleric Stance for it). MP cost was 7.31 % of my total at level 57.
    Stoneskin protection down to 10%, Quick Stoneskin Trait knocks it down to a 2.5 second cast seems like it needs more tweaking. 2.25 second base Cast would be more appropriate imo or a a skill chain proc with a Cure 2 (added to the traits) to knock it down to 2 seconds base at times or free cast would be nice.
    Presence of Mind, I get that change. its now 20% spell speed for 15 seconds with 150 second CD. Knock it down to 2 minutes CD or add another 5 seconds for 20 seconds would help imo.

    Quick WHM MP Costs:
    Cure is Cheap, about 3.4%
    Cure 2 and Stoneskin both cost the same, about 6.8% MP
    Holy costs x2 both of the above, about 13.67% MP
    Raise costs about 20.51% MP


    Any higher level SCH have feedback?

    Assize is nice for the MP boost in combat you get though the MP pool is really big anyway. I like Asylum but still working out the best way to use it been throwing it on the Tank and also experimenting as a DPS quick HP pool for them to run in or sit it behind the boss for melee to deal with party wide damage. DoT's actually feel stronger and not leveled to 58 to get Aero III yet. I feel like it's changing the way I play a bit. It used to be simple charge in and spam holy to stun lock everything and burn it but the MP cost to effectiveness doesn't work now so it's like Holy x3 or 4 then assize, Stack DoT's on everything switching to heals as needed for mob packs. I don't see the point of the stoneskin change. Other classes do mitigation better and the Stoneskin trait we had helped level the playing field a bit now it's just become kind of spammy.

    No new healer gear has accuracy on it. I'm missing at level 60 level capped to 50 even in Amdapor Keep Hard mode with all new gear. I foresee thjis being a big problem - haven't seen anyone mention it yet.

    I've been a fan of liberally using Asylum to set up going DPS for Holy and getting the DoTs up. Which despite the Holy nerf, it's still burns mobs considerably. Combine it with a E4E, divine seal + regen on tank per-usual, and adding Assize AoE. The WHM game just got more fun being able to stay in-stance longer with our awesome regen abilities.

    Personally, losing graniteskin trait is really the only change I don't really agree with. I get the leveling playing field for possibly not having a WHM but considering other classes can also use it the same way practically defeats that purpose. Now just 10% mitigation for the cost of a Cure 2, and a 2.5s cast time isn't really much of a perk at-all. This nerf would also mean stoneskin would not have been enough for many mechanics in Final Coil pre-echo days like prey.

    On the flip side, we are probably another 20 ilvls away from the new end-game equipment coming, considering the current level 60 tomestone gear available and i180 weapons. So it's 10% property usefulness will likely be seen in a month or so.

    You must have missed YoshiP's latest remarks on healer DPS not being calculated in overall raid damage requirements. I see the removal of ACC on gear a function of that stance so far, but it could also be they wanted to give more PIE on gear instead of something nimble like +9 ACC. But who knows if we will see it return on Alex end-game gear? Many of us SCHs had put ACC materia on our relics because of Coil DPS.

    Well I don't like it - missing is annoying as hell. All the small accuracy per piece added up - even without melded Acc gear we could still hit ~70% final coil not including guarenteeds. I didn't have a relic but ACC melded an accessory to help bring that number higher. Now it will prolly be like 50% and require a much higher investment to get up to a normal number. My Energy Drains return like 800 mana - I don't want to miss.

    I saw Yoshi-Ps statemnt - but them not considering the damage output from excellent healers who, while normally or even under healed for the content, could contribute some DPS in addition to their healing is not the same as saying F-U to all of them by not providing them enough accuracy for future content.

    Oh I don't either, being a SCH main as well. It was just something I noticed that we are getting more PIE in equipment at the cost of that ACC it seems, which is good for WHM obviously. But at the cost of ACC for SCH. Plus, SMN got a lot of ACC relief in 3.0 so it seems this was intentional.

    Right now at this state of the game, it means we better have our Dreadwyrm lvl 50 sets saved if we are going to be doing any of that coil content level sync'd.

    Accuracy on Healer gear was a "free" Stat. Other stats weren't affected by this and had the same amount like other gear.
