    I agree with that, it seems like an opportunity missed.

    Rewards aside, it would have been great to see some bosses or other challenges brought to the leve (Like you said). In my mind the idea of more open world (yet instanced) content really sounded appealing, moving from one spot on the map to another with a group of people could be a lot of fun.

    I haven't tried the crafting/gathering ones yet...

    Crafting ones simply ask for the exact same items, just in bigger quantities. Gathering ones are basically the same, give you more nodes to gather from.

    I did the combat ones duo, since we've been duoing most of the expansion, and perhaps that's why I found those extra disappointing, but both our reactions were "This is just the same thing but with a few more mob...", then "Wait... A boss will spawn, maybe that'll be interesting", but nope. Incredibly boring. They didn't even take existing mechanics and play around with them a bit, like those "Lead target to location" ones, they're exactly the same. The bright eyed optimist this expansion has brought out in me kind of ended up hoping; "Maybe when we get it there, a dragon will swoop down and kill it, then we'll fight a dragon!", but nope...

    Great opportunities missed all round... Perhaps these are just for people like Takfloyd who basically sat on 100 Levequest allowances for nearly 2 years... 10 Levequests goes by a lot quicker than 100, even if you're only getting 50% of the rewards out of your allowance... They still could have made them more interesting though... Would anyone be against more challenging Temple Levequests for more rewards? I find the regular ones just as boring as the next person (still do them because they're great in terms of rewards, which is why Temple Levequests offering half the reward per allowance really sucks), but that's perhaps why I had so much hope for these... These were a chance to make Levequests something more interesting and challenging, but instead it's just the same... Meh...
