    3rd Phase 33%

    The monster will do all previous skills.


    This phase is not tanked.

    Here he goes into a rage and begins to run around. (this will prevent a full mele burn party) As he runs around, he leaves a trail of fire behind him, (think a leaking gasoline tank lit on fire) so that mele can not "follow". Melee would need to anticipate his moves, spread out and hit him on the run by.

    From the fire he "poops" out, comes smaller fire elementals. these are VERY easy monsters to kill, but there is a large quantity of them. (think mage aoe fest) The tank should gather these up and have the mages aoe them down.

    Thats my quick thoughts on a boss fight.
    sounds like it would be fun, but since SE has to put a fkn timer on everything, this would NOT be fun...

    Definitely agree. Genuinely difficult content keeps players occupied for far longer than casual content does, and it gives us all something to work towards.

    ppl who acctully fought AV or PW b4 nurf would know that if you there for 18 hours and the're not dead "you're" doing somthing wrong. i enjoyed both fights b4 their nurf and although we didn't kill them we walked away and spent the next week formulating a new plan. sadly one group beleived the're way was the only way spent 18 hours on it till it made them physicly sick then the media got wind of it, the bad press resulted in a nurf and rage being added to a bunch of mobs.

    i would like a AV type mob to beat on -> fail -> beat on -> fail... ... -> beat on -> win.

    sadly ppl will take it too far and we'll have a repeat of the whole AV/PW issue and end up with anyting that is slightly challangeing being nurfed.

    I didnt' see any mention of incapacitation ; ;. But all right, it sounds like we're looking at trying to add specific scripted events...

    I wrote a fairly long post about this a long time ago... basically agreeing with what you have outlined, but much more detailed.

    Give the good doctor what he wants please.

    What's good for the game's premier player is good for all of us.

    Edit: your phase 3 is weak!!!! Easily killed mobs are great for a "detonating bomb" mechanic. Were if they touch a player they kill them. Makes for great teamwork on kiting, trapping mobs properly for aoe.

    I just thought of something...

    If harder content come out... what do you think will be harder to deal with? wiping continously til you learn the content.. or dealing with all the QQers crying the content is too hard?
