Why did they change all the voice actors?

I hate when there are voice-changes anyways, but it sounds like *ALL* of the characters have been replaced?!?

That's just... no good.

Alphy, Urianger, Minfilia, and Merlwyb were all amazing, and their voices really shouldn't be touched. I can see where the new Alphy might have been more fitting, if he'd been there from the very start, but I'm much too attached to the old crew.

Now, I'm not saying the replacements are bad voice-actors, by any means, but consistency is really important. It's hard to get excited for "Season 2" of the game's story, when the whole cast has been changed...

I like all the voice acting. Before and now. At least none of them are a monotone reading script mess that other mmo's have. They are doing a great job!

I hope a developer says something about this change. I mean changing voice actors is nothing new, but usually it's done with a little more tack. I mean everyone is british now, thats not jarring at all. I mean a new voice here or there without an explaination, sure okay, but every main character, makes me wonder there thought process. I know there can be scheduling conflicts, but I doubt everyones schedule was that conflicted. And, since we know these expansions are made way in advance they should of had plenty of time to figure something out.

I'm lv55 now the new voice actors that I've heard so far are so F**king bad like REALLY HORRIBLE... ugh I've really lost interest in the story because of how the characters sound... way too used to how they used to sound like before doesn't even seem like same characters anymore... I really couldn't care less if they all died now :/ Every voice is worse than before 80% of them have changed they all pretty much stick out like a sore thumb now since they are completely different (not sure why some ppl are saying they sound slightly different), I liked pretty much all the original voices except for maybe Minfilla now I hate all new ones pretty much .____. seriously why did they change them.... it's a joke....

This and man does this guy get it. I feel the same damn way. Wanna cry but it's too late now. It's done with. Having to mute sound when they speak. But at least I don't get sick hearing them.

They weren't monotone before. Please understand we got use to the way each person sounded and began a relationship in the game with each and everyone of them. Having a new voice to some of us was shocking and very hard to adjust too.

This is my main problem right now. The new voices aren't even bad and I get that these things sometimes have to happen, but you don't just recast everyone in the game and expect it go unnoticed. I just want to know why, considering it seems some old VA's weren't even notified.

Wonder if Erin Fitzgerald still voices Nanamo. If she does, I couldn't care less about all the others. (Maybe I care for Lucia)

She's really hit and miss for me. Agnes' voice was my least favorite from Bravely Default, but sounded pretty convincing as Quark from Virtue's Last Reward.

I could live with any of it , but Merlwyb??? So sad - for me that was the sexiest woman in allll of Eorzea, and it had a lot to do with the voice. Oh well, old cutscenes in the inn I s'pose.
