+1 here....
And after 30secs or so...
Did try the suggestion of switching Datacenter's and back, but didnt seem to work for me.

They know how many pre-orders they sold, they knew what to expect....they did nothing to prepare. Deja vu from the original launch. Not a way to keep your returning players.
Why should SE deal with significant expenses to prepare for 1 week? It makes little sense from their end. Anyone who likes the game enough to pay a continuous subscription fee voluntarily will deal with a temporary annoyance and move on. People who don't like the game enough to put up with something like this for a few days are not the people who would have kept paying a subscription fee for months and years to come, by and large. And those folks have already bought the base game, so SE's got about as much cash as it's going to from them.
I get it. I'm as annoyed at being unable to get on as you all are, and I'd love if we had super-awesome-amazing servers that could handle any load or DDOS without going down. But really. This nonsense will fix itself up fast, and in a month no one will remember or care. Go out and watch a movie. Go to the pool. Remember that pet you bought? Go see if s/he's still alive. We'll live just fine without our e-crack for a short while, I promise.
What just worked for me not saying will work for everyone is I changed datacenter exited and logged back in defaulting to my reg data center and it let me it again not saying it will fit issue
Posts like this annoy the hell out of me. If this were a free to play game I would be with you, however I paid $60 for this pre-order on top of a monthly subscription to play this game. I don't want to hear the problem will be resolved in a month, unless it comes with a refund for the monthly fee for the said month. Why should SE deal with significant expenses to prepare for 1 week? And I am extremely bored with implying people unhappy with the service need to go outside and "get a life". I work 40+ hours per week, I spend time with my family away from the pc altogether. But when it is my time to enjoy my hobby, the one I am PAYING for, that is what I want to do. So how about YOU go outside, go to the pool, go watch a movie, and stop telling us how we should feel about this.
If you complain loudly enough to customer service, I'd be willing to bet there's a decent chance you can get 2/30th of your ~15 dollar/month sub refunded (+ or - 1/30 depending on if it goes on a third day). Don't spend all that money at once.Posts like this annoy the hell out of me. Nothing better to do? Go outside or something....practice what you preach.
Early Access..unless you're on the Aether data center..Then it's just a game of luck.
Most of this has already been said.. but i agree with the above. Of course they know exactly how many presales they sold for this game. That stuff is closely tracked by their financial people. SE promised early access plus some in game items, and in return they took our money, extra in fact because we paid more for the expansion for these extras. Now they have ALL our money, 100%.. and only deliver on HALF of what was promised. Imagine if ANY other business did this.. take the full amount and only give you half the product.. people would burn down the building. But oh nooo.. not square.. its just normal business for them. Listen SE, You charge us for the game.. you charge us for the expansion.. you also charge us monthly fees. I pay all these things gladly and Ill give you credit. .you got a great game! (when we can play it) I love all the content.. but seriously.. you've taken hundreds and hundreds of dollars from me and everyone else.. funny thing is you've never ever had a problem getting my money.. but it seems like i and many others here, often have problems using what we are paying for. Why do we, the people who "pay extra" for these "collector sets/early access/blahblahblah" get to be your guniea pigs? I say that if every one of us who are having these problems logging in "early access" ask for 50% refunds. If you can only deliver us 50% of what you offered, then why should we pay full price?? Seeing how this is already day 2 of 4 of the early access.. im pretty sure this issue will not be solved before the games full launch. So again SE.. what did we pay all the extra $$ for? Maybe a few thousand angry customers requests flooding your customer service might help teach you a lesson. Oh, and btw.. neat little trick lunching on a FRI when your customer services are only open mon-fri 9 to 5. Classy move.. kinda looks to me like you knew this would happen.. and this way you can avoid a massive flood of pissed off people blowing up your phones. Good one.
